We just had our wedding reception at Blind Lion and it was perfect!! All my guests had the best time! Food was amazing, the service was impeccable, there was nothing I can complain about! Thank you for making our special day absolutely perfect!!!

One of the best drinks I’ve ever had! Hands down, please order the Amber Ambrosia if you have a sweet tooth like me! It was so good I ordered 3 in a row! I could probably drink 7 more of it. Decadent! Their other drinks were also yummy! The bartenders were nice. Our bartender Travis was excellent. We sat at the bar, we had a great conversation with him and the other lady bartender. Gave us great recommendations on where to eat and where to go for a good time in Rapid City. The only disappointment was that I made the reservation under the impression that they would have dinner/food. I wasn’t inform through text that it would only be for craft drinks. We came in hangry hehe. The bartenders were nice enough to order us food upstairs from Murphy’s. (Dont order the dry rub wings unless you want to burn your throat lol literally)
Overall had a fantastic time, glad we found it on a blog last minute and would come back when we decide to visit Rapid City in the future!

Excellent cocktails and banter with bartenders and patrons alike. You can also have your cocktails infused with various kinds of wood or tobacco smoke. I would recommend this establishment for the whisky connoisseur in your life, they're sure to find something on the shelves they'll like.

I reached out to blin lion 2 weeks in advance to get a reservation. Checked in the Friday before to confirm everything was good then the day of I reached out for the code as instructed and was told I didn't have a reservation. Went back and forth with them then they realized there mistakes at that point we went ahead and order food somewhere else when we made it down there you didn't even need a pin door was wide open. Place was freezing cold we order our drinks and the host kept helping a bigger party over us. The drinks were good but service is lacking sucked that I tried planning and being prepared and they were not.

Great place for CRAFT cocktails. The Blind Lion provides the ultimate cocktail lounge/speakeasy experience. The bartenders are great and know how to mix a craft cocktail!!
This place is really nice! It’s under Murphy’s Pub and Grill. This has a chill atmosphere. Their handcrafted cocktails are unique and they make it based on what the customer likes! It’s not like every other bar people are used to going to. The drink menu makes you venture out of your own comfort zone and try new things, which with them, you won’t be disappointed. They have a small food menu, but it’s a cocktail lounge so you figure food is a second thought ??♀️ They have live music and different events. 10/10, definitely should visit!

Second time ive been here, last year went with a group of 12, was able to have order food from murphys, which now no longer do, and had a great time so went back the next year ,Went with a group of 16, apparently you are suppose to have only 15 in your group. Which we wer told was ok but was not told about the extra charge. So we got charged double for our already over priced drinks just cause we had one extra person. Ridiculous. Will not be going back and supporting this place.
