The food wasn't all that great, they offered beef or chicken, not both like others of this same category, one refill of lemonade at the table otherwise you had to get it yourself. They didn't pick up your dishes, you had to return them yourself, and they started the show before everybody was done eating and then had to take care of their dishes yet. The music was good, but they weren't very funny.
Met up with some old friends we hadn’t seen in over 20 years. Good atmosphere, good country cooking, great music. Will go again.
We arrived early to get our tickets. They had things for kids to do before the meal. Our son enjoyed shooting a gun, riding a horse a couple times (extra fee), panning for gold, and looking around in the gift shop. They had a shootout before the meal which the children enjoyed. The meal was decent. The show was really good. The location is off the beaten path compared to many of the attractions in the area but we would recommend it.
Although a bit rainy, the staff handled it very well. Too wet to ride horses, so we went in the covered wagon and had a nice ride with a great driver. A couple of the kids rode up front with him and had a great time. Dinner was delicious and all under cover- a good thing since it rained a bit. Very well organized and ran over a hundred people thru very quickly.
This was a great place for all ages. The pre show time has many activities for younger children. The food was quickly on our plates; friendly people from the moment you get your tickets; the show is a family who sing, tell jokes to each other and play instruments accept for one older gentleman who plays the fiddle. It is for all ages from young to seniors.
