The food was good, and plentiful, but not very flavorful. Had to add lots of salt, pepper and tabasco to spice it up. Had the porkchops and they were good, but the gravy was very bland. The ambiance is nice--lots of antiques and 50s-60s-70s memorabilia scattered around the walls. Service was great, and they have a full service bar--really nice after a day of sightseeing!

Food was amazing. Best cinnamon rolls ever. Breakfast were delicious as well, great size. Coffee had great flavor. Oh! And the sugar cookies are amazing, big, soft and delicious. We stopped there in our way to Mount Rushmore and had a lot of parking. I recommend this place 100%.

We ordered food to go last night. Hardly a soul in the restaurant around 6pm. We know why now. My pork chops were under cooked and mushy (pork chops mushy?). My roommates spaghetti and meatballs were disgusting (meatball, you could not find the meat and no flavor. Noodles completely overcooked and mushy (seems to be a theme) and sauce, do not get me started. This use to be a good place to eat. Now way over priced and gross. Sad when businesses go down hill so badly. Brighter note, never had a bad breakfast there. But we'll never know as we will not eat there again. We wasted our money. The food we ordered end up in trash.

Update: We did go back & had a similar experience. Won't go back for a 3rd

The food was not great, but it was presented nicely. Hashbrowns were almost impossible to eat. They were like chewing raw rice. All of us fought for the bathroom, if you know what I mean, before we even got to the car. VERY OVER PRICED. $70+ for 3 breakfasts & coffee before tip. The table next to us ordered pancakes & they fell apart into what looked like dry sand. We had not been to CH in 20 years & it is not at all like it was in the good ol days. We will not likely return. I hate giving bad reviews, but in this case, it's justified. Such a shame. Everything could easily be fixed to be a 5☆ place again.

In between 3 hospital appointments today. Thinking about a place to dine. Mysteriously my pickup veered to the left & I am sure glad it did! I enjoyed the BEST patty melt I have ever had, anywhere! The service was impeccable! I would most definitely recommend you stop in & enjoy, too!

On Mayflower tour. I had the cod and my husband had the flat iron steak. Good. The salad was better than average with tomato, celery, cucumber, carrot. Good staff.
