There is an older woman server. Couldn’t get her name. Few months back, she outright told me that I didn’t tip her enough. I go there often with my wife and grandchildren. Since that episode, she has been outwardly rude to me and my table. I think she has no business in any job dealing with the public. I would suggest that the management of this store have a word with her!

My wife had the Philly Cheese steak meal and I had the 1/2 pound Deluxe Cheese Burger meal and both were very good. And, our server, Debra, gave us excellent service. We will definitely be coming back to dine at Country Market!

Food was great as always. Atmosphere is comfortable. Four stars on the service, might have been just a bad day because normally it is great.

The chicken fried steak is not chicken fried steak. Usually it's pounded eye round dredged and fried. This was some kind of preground meat with binders dredged and fried. I guess they buy it frozen and fry it. They had way to much gravy 10 or 12 Oz. I took a few bites and told them I wasn't happy got my military discount and left. They leave a lot of room for improvement.

I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me, after noticing that EVERY server saw me, a few minutes later a waitress said "can I help you sir?" So I stated the obvious; because I never saw a sign that said seat yourself. When she brought me a menu I told her exactly what I wanted before she set it down, 5 whole minutes later the very same person came back to the table and asked me what I wanted to order so I told her again. It all went down hill from there.....I won't go into all the details, I'll just say don't come in here if you're in a hurry like most truckstop restaurants seem to understand, like if you're trying to grab a quick meal during a 30 break, you'll spend an hour here minimum, which isn't totally terrible, just sayin' for informational purposes to my fellow drivers. The people who work here are very nice and friendly, lots of Midwest hospitality, which is a nice change for someone used to Westcoast liberal hatred and selfishness.I definitely don't understand the 18% gouge for to go orders; I guess it's legal if they post it on a whiteboard, but where's the logic in charging a pre-determined tip before evaluating the service, that's not what tipping is all about....they should be EARNED, not part of the routine.I've been here several times over the years and the food is usually pretty good for a coffee shop, much better than the other County Market Restaurant at the Pilot on the west side of town, that one is pretty shabby

15 tables, 1 server. No hosts, nobody to seat you. 20 minutes at the front desk before sitting myself. 25 minutes for server to recognize I am sitting at a table, another 40 for food to come out.

I had the Truckers Platter for breakfast and it was excellent and filling. I've had much better coffee but I have had worse. I will come back. The service was excellent.

Forcing a tip for takeout. Ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and toast $9.99 on menu and $13.46 on receipt. Charged 4 extra dollars for them to walk 20 ft over, grab order, ring it up, and hand me the food. What a crock of bs.

This is a truck stop, enough food at a good price to get you going down the road.
