beer selection brewed locally and rotating as they make new batches on site. genuinely some of the best beer I've had. partner and I got a flight each and split another flight of 4 for Valentine's Day and there was not one I did not like. genuinely every beer is a banger and the staff is also very nice! a little out of the way of the main downtown but I would highly recommend!
Found Dakota point Brewing by our hotel and it was on my beer trail, so decided to stop by. What a great find. A big selection of different type of beers and all of them were solid. Staff was great, it was later in the day before close, so they were slower and we got to chat with Katie and Emily (and second Katie next visit). They were all a delight and great way to get other local recommendations. We ended up forgetting to get our beer trail stamp, so went back a second time before we left town. Been meaning to leave this since we stopped in, in October.
Good brewery but a little pricey compared to their neighbours but a good spot regardless. Their beer is more diverse than their neighbours though so maybe that offsets it.
Pretty good beer. I spoke with owners Carl and Alexa for quite some time. They are both very nice and seem to run an honest, legit business. No side gigs or money laundering as far as I could tell.
However, the beer was fairly expensive which is why I am giving 4 stars. Also, with Nerdy nuts next door, they should really be doing more collaboration. How about peanut butter beer? Or beer flavored peanut butter?
This beer is darn tasty. The 'Trim Your Bush' is excellent. I will definitely be back.

I discovered Dakita Point Brewing completely by accident, and I'm so glad I did. The atmosphere is relaxing and laid-back, and it's extremely dog-friendly. Kyke and Ryan were knowledgeable, kind, and a lot of fun! The Pine Island Hazy IPA is absolutely amazing.
The beers were very good. Loved the Trek IPAs, not a huge fan of the black currant sour though. We were happy to be able to bring our dog inside. The food truck had amazing sliders.
Great atmosphere, staff, and drinks!
New ownership has stepped up their game! Solid upgrade for Rapid City. Also, it’s nice to have more great beer. Truly, the whole lineup is solid.

Stopped in for a couple of beers and it was great. Great beer, great service and nice people. Location is close to hiking/biking trails and in an older building that has been repurposed (history as a power building and jewelry factory) which leaves a great historical building with great beer!
Stopped in this afternoon hoping to find the perfect patio & sour while my sister was in town. Savannah was our bartender, she let us try a few beers before deciding what we wanted, and then while we were trying beers she set up the perfect table outside in the sunshine! Great beer, great service. I’ll be back! 🍻
End of January, patio wasn’t even set up but Savannah set us up without batting an eye—we wanted to opportunistically soak in the sun and she made it happen! 5 stars!! P.S. Amazing kettle sour!!
Love this place. Good atmosphere and solid beer selection.
Awesome local spot to grab from craft beer! Rustic feel with a cool red brick building for a good atmosphere. Go check it out!
