Great. Fish is high quality and fresh. Oysters are pretty hit and miss. Travis is the best. Viola is a pretty amazing business woman, so many great local businesses!

Excellent. They have shelled gulf shrimp. Expensive but very good quality. Disappointed no peeled Louisiana crawfish. But hey Walmart here is stocked full of Louisiana crawfish from my hometown.

I’ve been shopping at DSC since the beginning . In fact , my son worked there in the beginning . The early days were the best . You had people who were enthusiastic about the product and the store offered fish/seafood that people were eager for . Like many things , life moves on and owners change. Now, based my experience, the entire experience is quite different. Whole fish offerings are basically non-existent , steak cut options have been exchanged for small fillet option choices , and none of the help seems to know anything about cuts, cooking options , etc. it is so disappointing ! yesterday , i bought two thawed versions of fish burgers/steaks- one salmon and the other tuna . In the past these burgers were frozen . But yesterday they were thawed , but in any case i purchased them. Today , i went to grill them and the salmon burger unpacked easily but the tuna burger was a mess. it was gummy and and wouldn’t release from the was paper layers . I eventually untangled the tuna mess from the paper and reformed a burger from a hand formed effort. Disappointing !

I would give it 5 stars, but their prices are so high that it makes it hard to get as much fresh fish as I would like. The staff is wonderful, and they offer helpful tips on how to best cook the food that they sell.
