Dakota seafood came highly recommended from a few coworkers of mine since we had just moved into the area, and it did not disappoint. When you walk in you are greeted by the nicest staff and quite a variety items to shop. If you have any questions on items for a dish that would pair perfectly they seem more than happy to help. For starters there are two full displays of fresh seafood options including lobster, scallops, salad choices, salmon, poke, and lots of other options. I can tell you we have purchased a lobster tails, scallops, and the crab cakes and they were all great. Also in store they offer a variety of items that can go with your meal planning including Asian inspired items like momofoku chili oils and noodles, local chocolates, and other items on their shelves. One of my favorite areas is the fresh produce with mushrooms that are hard to find for some Asian inspired dishes. Also there is a freezer that has a variety of beef, chicken, and veggie broths and house soups made that you can purchase frozen which is really nice. Overall this place is amazing and just what this City needs. Also conveniently located next to a great liquor store that can help you find a wine for your seafood night.

The food was great and so were the younger employees. The old lady behind the counter,- was pretty rude and completely condescending. Loved the options and the organic variety- it is also close to home. Customer service goes a long way, definitely room for improvement.

Big City bougie selection of meat, fish, seafood inc oysters and lobster, cheese dips, crackers etc etc. You can make a supper fit for a King here and pair it with something lovely from Smith's Liquor next door. A small market with a lot of panache.

Love their 20 pack of Faroe island salmon. They always have it when I need it and I've never had even a mediocre portion yet inover a year of being a regular customer.
What a great place to come to for seafood! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the set-up of the store. It was very easy to find things and move around. Great seafood. In the Midwest it is very difficult to find and get fresh seafood. Dakota seafood is the place to get your fresh catch the freshest in the Midwest. You can also find some other fine delicacies such as foi gras, octopus, variety of exotic cheeses, fruits and vegetables.

I was a little hesitant to go to look at seafood close to the farthest point from the ocean in all of North America, but this place is excellent. Besides a great selection of seafood and meats and some pre-made ready-to-cook offerings, Daokta Seafood has a tightly-curated selection of everything else you need for a great meal. picnic or barbeque.
