I loved this place, took my dessert to go given I was so full! One of the best Lobster rolls had in a while, order it with shrimp on the side (chef's kiss). I got there 30 minutes before closing and staff was still great. Sweet Potatoes are so yummy, I know I know, I love them, I can't help it. Didn't try the steak, but I know they are good when everything else is pleasing to the palate.

This is a high end steakhouse. It's really hard to find a better steak anywhere. If you miss the French Onion Soup, no worries, it's common at best, but you aren't there for the soup. The bourbon mashed sweet potatoes are extraordinary. Don't miss that side. And the crabcakes are way better than you'd expect outside a high end seafood place on a coast.

My dry aged ribeye that cost $80 plus dollars is the toughest piece of steak i have ever had in a restaurant. The chislic was very bland and the dipping sauces are very bland and subpar. Service was phenomenal and restaurant was nice and quiet. Ate here three times since 2005, this will be the last. I make a better steak/meal at home...waste of money!

They weren’t overly busy, yet it took over an hour for the food to arrive from the kitchen. If there was a problem in the back of house, that should have been communicated to us. Total bill with tip was about $270 and, no, I don’t feel like it was worth it.

The servers stayed on top of everything and the food was incredibly delicious. We definately plan on visiting again for future special occasions.

My wife and I had dinner here and we both agree the service we had was absolutely wonderful! Our server Nichole went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. She was personable, friendly, and answered all of our questions regarding items on the menu. We especially enjoyed the conversation we had with Nicole after dinner. The food was exceptional as well. This is the first time I had bison and it was so tender and flavorful. My wife had the prime rib and it too was delicious. We also had onion soup, Cesar salad, mixed veggies, sweet potatoes, French fries and crème brûlée for dessert, all of which were delicious too. The portions for our sides were on the larger size so you won’t leave hungry. We are from out of town, but if we lived in Rapid City we would certainly return again and again! Thank you again Nichole for your fabulous service! :)

We had dinner at Delmonico Grill in Rapid City and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There were three of us in our party, and we started with the Caesar and wedge salads — both were fresh, crisp, and dressed perfectly with great flavor.
For the main course, two of us ordered the sirloin while the third had the filet mignon. Each steak was cooked exactly to order — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The kitchen clearly knows how to handle a good cut of meat.
Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable, classy, and relaxed — the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal and good conversation.
Highly recommend Delmonico Grill for anyone looking for an excellent steakhouse experience in Rapid City.

We ordered chislek - it was the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered kona crusted pork chop. Three bites in and we were done. It tasted terrible - super salty, tender but the taste was off. I, unfortunately, will never go back.
