Food tasted great. Every staff member we encountered was phenomenal. Was in the area for a long weekend getaway, not sure if we'll be back, will definitely recommend to anyone we know that is coming to the area.

Visited for the first time and was impressed with the service. Also enjoyed an excellent salad. I did not especially prefer the steak or the value compared to other fine dining in the Hills.

Loved everything about experience. Only complaint is that they only have beer and wine as opposed to a full bar.

Was not given the attention and care. Asked if we were celebrating anything...we shared it was our 33rd wedding anniversary....they did nothing to celebrate it. In the past other restaurants of this caliber gave us either a dessert or a percentage off our meal. Water in glass was warm.

We ordered almost immediately since we looked at the menu online. It took an hour for a MR temp prime rib with mashed sweet potatoes and Med temp Lamb chops with sautéed vegetables. My wife and I eat very clean and this meal gave both of us terrible indigestion that lasted to the next day. We drank no alcohol. We ate no dessert. I do not recommend dining here.

Bread salad steak great. Shrimp cocktail a little squishy. I have had it before & it was outstanding. I would for sure go back & try it again tho!

Wine and beer only? This is a western experience town. The food was great scallop appetizer and fillet were perfect. But no liquor? No bourbon. No mixed drinks. Make that more prominent in advertising. Service was excellent. Young lady was A+. My husband and I were just very disappointed by the wine only.

Wow! Great restaurant. Service and servers were very attentive and personable. We had the French dip sandwich and their signature hamburger. Very good and… Homemade ice cream. Would recommend this to anybody.

Really.
If this is the best Rapid City has to offer then people must be starving. We spent $66 on lunch. I had the filet which was OK but lonely on it's plate. Figured for the price it could at least be accompanied by parsley! My other half had the lobster roll which he said was too rich but still good. Presentation matters and that was not only lacking in the food but also the decor ( bones really) and lack of table linens.
Despite being empty at 3pm it took about 4 minutes for someone to seat us.
Sadly disappointed!

The food was good, our waitress was nice, but not as attentive as we hoped. To be fair she had loft tables as well as ours. We were never asked if we needed refills until we asked for the bill. There were no serving spoons with our sides. While making the reservation, I added that it was our anniversary- we are on vacation far from home. There was not any mention of it at all.

If you know my husband and I , you know that sharing a great meal together is one of our favorite experiences. Over the years, we’ve dined everywhere from world-renowned restaurants to hidden gems tucked away in small corners—and often, those little spots are every bit as memorable. For a long time, Delmonico’s was one of our regular local go-to’s. But after a couple of disappointing visits years ago, we stopped going. Tonight, we decided to give it another chance—and I am so glad we did. We shared the lamb entrée, and it was flawless. The sear had a delicate, crisp crust that gave way to perfectly tender, flavorful meat. The couscous was balanced, light yet savory, and the pairing elevated the dish to something extraordinary. Honestly, I haven’t had lamb this good since living in the Middle East, where I once had it prepared fresh—literally from pasture to plate. Until tonight, nothing here had come close to that standard. Our waitress, Kiara ( spelling?) , delivered impeccable service—attentive, genuine, and engaging without being overbearing. The GM, Ashley, has clearly re-imagined the dining experience at Delmonico’s, and it shows.

The cut of the sirloin steak was very tough. The crusted pork tenderloin was very peppery (not to my liking) but the dish otherwise was tasty.
