Decent food, great service, good beer and lots of stuff on the walls to look at.

The beer was good, atmosphere was good. The food was bland , the burger especially bland and dry itbwas tough to choke down. Nothing seemed to be seasoned.

We love this place so much, we literally drive 5 hours for their lunch and then another 5 hours home. Yes! We drive that long for their Gumbo. In fact... we're doing it again 11/30/24. Can't wait!!
Their awesome friendly staff, beer and good food make the drive so worth it! Cant wait to get that Gumbo tomorrow!!!

Went on the Monday before Thanksgiving after walking around the downtown area. Fun vibe, delicious food, especially the brownie desert!

Restoration of a fire station at it's best. Tasty suds, friendly and fast service, unique atmosphere. Rapid City is interesting with all of the historical buildings, clean and tidy streets. Our adventures thru South Dakota is very memorable. 2 thumbs up from a Canadian from northern Alberta. Many thanks!

We were very disappointed in the food and service this evening. We have earen here several times over the last 6 years. My husband has been sober from alcohol for over 25 years. He ordered coffee. He got 1 cup and the waitress brought out a 1/4 cup of coffee. You really need to reevaluate your service to non drinkers. We ordered loaded baked potatoes. They were very dry and had clearly been sitting in the warmer for way too long. Definitely should not have been served to customers. We definitely will not be returning again. Definitely not worth the $118 that we spent for our family of 4 to have dinner. Just an FYI the smoked brisket sandwich from the common cents on hwy 44 is 100 times better than the overpriced brisket sandwich that you guys serve.

Food is very good. Portions are generous.Server is new and needs some training. Server didn't ask how we'd like our hamburger cooked. Food came out luke warm. Places was not busy at all.

It's a caricature of a historical restaurant/brewery. Generic Applebee's style menu and mediocre beer options. Wait staff were similarly uninterested in their duties and knew nothing about the beer or much about the menu. Can't say I blame them. Still, their hostility to questions about the menu and rude responses are a bit hard to swallow. Just like the food.

The least interesting place to go in downtown Rapid City. Avoid.

Ahi tuna nachos were excellent! And obviously the beer also

The food was good but not spectacular. Seasoned fries, meh. A printed beer menu was somewhat useless as my first 2 selections were out, which I found unusual. Usually beers on a paper menu are always available but I guess that’s not the case. With an empty beer glass server never asked if I wanted another. Isn’t part of the objective to pour the beer? I was a little disappointed overall.

The service was disappointing, especially since it wasn’t a busy time. After waiting 45 minutes, my Western burger arrived with one half drenched in BBQ sauce and the other half completely dry. The fries were cold to the touch, and it seemed like they were understaffed. For the same price, you get more at Chili’s, and the food quality is the same. The quality didn’t justify the price, so I won’t be returning.

We were passing through seeing fire trucks along the way so we had to stop. We planned on eating but decided on just a cocktail as they clearly take better care of the outside (very impressive) but not the inside. It didn't look or smell clean.
