Absolutely delicious. I was in Custer for a week and drove up to Rapid City to get some sushi. (Not that Rapid City is a well-known hot bed of sushi, I just don't live anywhere near a sushi restaurant, so I take advantage when I can.) Anyway, well worth the drive.
The fried oysters appetizer was perfectly done with a sauce that I am saving as a dip for other things. All of the rolls I got were perfectly balanced. The Ace Roll was my favorite.
Lovely family running it as well.
I will definitely be returning the next time I am in the area, and I recommend you visit this place if you are in Rapid City.

The server caught that one of our dishes was not gluten free and had the chef remake it without. So incredibly sweet of her, thank you for catching our mistake and being so gracious about it!!!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free soy sauce available as well!

Food was good but than out of my soup a fly floated to the top. I didn’t ask for a refund, discount, nothing. All I asked was for the server to take it away and than the manager lady just stood at the counter making the ugliest, least intimidating face at us. Before she stopped to stare at us, she said out loud that I brought the fly in with me. Why would I bring a fly in? Minus that, all food was great, nothing but good things to say. Until I saw the fly the soup was great. Servers did kinda ignore us and we were the only native people in the restaurant, the rest of the customers were white. Not one to pull the race card but ignoring us wasn’t very great. So other than the servers and the fly and the manager lady accusing me of bringing in a fly, it was great. Like I said, I didn’t ask for a refund or anything, I just wanted my bowl taken away and she still accused me, why would I bring in a fly?
Very friendly service and great food. If you need gluten free, let your server know.

This was a pleasant change from all the fried food we ate during bike week. Nice little restaurant at the edge of a mall.
