This used to be a good Chinese place to go to in town but not anymore. I ordered the sweat and sour pork and my dish was filled with onions instead of pineapple, barely cooked carrots, and one slice of raw bell pepper. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

I ordered take out house special lo main noodles. This was described as having assorted meats and vegetables. I expected more vegetables it had maybe some sad green onions. It was NOT special. The noodles were meh. Fried rice was provided with it and that seemed dry. 🤷♀️ I'm not inspired to be a return customer.

Modest Midwestern Chinese food restaurant. The recipes are Joyce Chen Americanized Chinese food and as long as that's what you're looking for, it's quite good. The staff is efficient and friendly. It's a great place to go for lunch in Rapid City.

The server managed to forget two things we ordered, never remembered to bring them. She sat playing with her phone rather than paying attention to her customers. One customer even had to go to her table where she was sitting with her phone and interrupt her to Get his ticket so he could leave. Never going back there again .

I used to love this restaurant. I don't order from restaurants often. I'm talking maybe once every month or two. And I have a variety that I like, so it had been a while since I had gone here. I ordered two dishes. I was surprised to find how much the orange chicken lacked flavor. Saltiness, tangyness, the little bit of spiciness, it was all missing. The noodles that I got? I was really craving some Chinese dishes but the noodles especially I can't even finish. Just feel disappointed.
The food was delicious, the servers were kind, and I had a wonderful time.

Wildly inconsistent with flavor and textures of food between different visits. Sometimes you get great wokhai other times it's like they over cooked the rice and the meat is slimy. Sometimes it's great other times it sucks. No delivery. Not worth the price for the vast inconsistent quality of the food. Miss the old owner, food was always better then.
