We went there on a Tuesday so there weren't a lot of people, which my wife and I loved.
They are ok with kids, although they didn't have any highchairs.
Food is served by the place besided them, its not too much of a hassel and everybody is very helpful and nice.

Vegetarian options: The place next door has some vegetarian options like cold sandwiches.
You can ask them to remove meat for you for other options.

I haven't eaten there yet but I've been in three times so far and tried three different brews. Cliche Hazy is within the top 5 brews I've ever tried. I dunno who Bobby is but he knocked it outta tha park.! Hay Camp beats Firehouse Brewing all day long.

If you’re looking for Rapid City vibes, great beer, great food, and a rocking karaoke spot, this is the place. There’s a little something for everyone but I’d recommend this for every tourist passing through (and locals looking for the best beer)

So you order the sandwiches from the connected Deli next door (and they're awesome) but the beer at Hay Camp is worth the trip on its own. Great spot and plan on going back next time I'm in RC!!

Visiting South Dakota, my hubby stopped by the Bashful Bison for our sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised to find it connected to Hay Camp Brewing. While waiting for our food, they offered my husband a taste of their beer, and he was hooked. He ended up choosing the Dunkel, which he loved so much that he bought a 4-pack to go. It paired perfectly with our sandwiches from the Bashful Bison. We only wish we lived closer so we could enjoy it more often!

The taproom is spacious with plenty of seating, and they have a variety of games to keep you entertained. The drink selection is impressive, with a wide range of craft beers including sour beers. We tried the angostura which is locally sourced bison tips and the new underwood sandwich! AMAZING!!! They have beer pairings for each menu item and it creates a smooth meal.
