Typical Nepali music, the interior decoration of the restaurant will give you a Nepal vibes. For a second we felt are we are back home at Nepal. For food Visitor must give a try to garlic naan & butter chicken. My 6 year old son was very happy with the meal. He rated them 10 out of 10. Thankyou Kathmandu bistro Will visit again

I've lived multiple places around the country with really great food scenes, but seriously this place is the best Indian/Nepalese food I've had. Classic dishes you'll find in most Indian restaurants, and they're just soooo good. I'm vegetarian, and often get the daal makhani and the paneer tikka masala. The malai kofta is also great. Gokurna (not sure of my spelling) is so welcoming whenever he's in the building, and the rest of the staff always take good care of us. Super happy that they're here in Rapid City!

Probably best chicken chili I have ever had in a Nepalese restaurant in US. Other items we tried were Paneer tikka masala and Tadka daal. All items were good and felt like it was just freshly prepared at home. They should add more vegetarian appetizer options.

This place is a hidden gem in RC. Medium spice level was perfect. Nice decor. They split the check without asking (which was correctly inferred) and everything was super quick. It was a full dining house for a reason

Getting here early is definitely a good idea! We were seated at 5:05pm and there were already four tables seated before us. The food did take a hot second to get to us, which was not unexpected considering the amount of take out orders they were also completing, so it was no bother. The food was very tasty and we took about an hour overall. Will definitely eat here again.

The naan and curries were delicious. Unfortunately chicken was a bit tough which impacted my overall enjoyment of the meal.
Service was great, fast and helpful with a lot of attention given to making sure we are not missing anything when needed.
I also really enjoyed the restaurant's decor with a lot of photography from Nepal!
