The Milestone restaurants are one of our all time favorites. We go out of our way to go to one. Breakfast served all day. Great family restaurant that my grandfather would love. Too bad they have coke products instead of Pepsi. Bacon extra crisp was really good, only 3 pieces with the meal pie as a side. She got dr pepper, i had an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea. Shelby was a great waitress.
We ordered the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Both were delicious. You get an all you can eat salad bar with your dinner.
Excellent food & service!

Family owned, good food. Got a great site seeing suggestion from a customer.
Good diner experience. Prices are reasonable and service is always great.
We were in town for an event and stopped here for supper. I’m gluten and dairy free and the staff was helpful and my burger on the gluten free bun with the baked sweet potato was the best meal I have had at a restaurant since my dietary restrictions! Wholeheartedly recommend.
I have been going to the Millstone on La Cross for close to twenty years. My learning disabled son LOVES it there, and has made friends with most of the wait staff. We were going every evening because my husband suffers from dementia and it was good therapy for him. For some reason, the night manager became angry at us, was doing everything in her power to not have any interaction with us, going so far as to make my disabled son cry when he was trying to make her smile. So, decided that, since she crossed the line, and it was costing too much money, we would try to not go when she was working. Went tonight, Jan 8, 2025 and think I have another good reason to cut back even more. I am getting tired of paying for cold, undercooked, or overcooked food! Tonight my oldest son"s chili cheese burger was so cold, the cheese didn't even melt, and my husbands slice of french toast was so cold, he couldn't spread the slightly cold butter on it! Last Monday, the sausage links were burned to a crisp and the spaghetti was cold. This is an ongoing issue. If it wasn't for my husband needing even this limited interaction, I wouldn't be going back. Even with the senior discount, it's just no longer worth going.
Came from a bad experience at Perkins, and instantly changed our mood for the better. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Overall good

I love this restaurant. The best locally owned restaurant in town. Food is always hot and delicious. Service is prompt and friendly.
Food was pretty good. Got take out and they missed part of the order.

Frank uses electric scooter since he can only walk short distances. Vanessa demonstrated w/her voice & actions I was a nuisance and in the way. I couldn’t get to a table by walking due to the crowd. She, Abby and the physical room were not accommodating to his disability so he felt unwelcome (even though we had reservations) and left. I think these employees need to be taught about the ADA laws. They are not Wheelchair, scooter adaptable.
