Minervas Restaurant & Bar

We came in to try their special New Orleans menu. The food was fantastic. I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits - it burst with flavor yet wasn't too spicy. The honey calvados salad was delicious and bananas foster desert was excellent. Our waitress was friendly.

Food was very tasty. Portions were sized appropriately. Everything about the experience was good. Will return.

our waiter Drew was exceptional especially with the two children. He was polite, professional, highly competent. We sat at a nice round table for the 7 of us. We have eaten here before snd we are always pleased. thanks to Drew especially.

It was unfortunate because their grill was down so they were cooking everything on a flat top. The salad bar appeared as if it had been sitting all day. Everything looked like it was at the bottom of the bowl It was very disappointing for what they charged hoping that they were just having an off night in our food was lukewarm at best Not the Minerva as I'm used to.

Many of items in salad bar were not very fresh. Walleye was fried and overcooked…very dry. Service however was great…very kind, friendly and attentive.

Food was mediocre, service was worse. We got salads after our meals. Ordered a $100 bottle of wine which came half way through our meal. Go to Texas Roadhouse!

Love coming to Minerva's. The food and service are consistently good and prices are very reasonable.

WoW...I hope I have her name right. I believe our server was Courtney...I forgot to get her name, and didn't check the ticket..but, reguardless, she is a fantastic person/server who went beyond for my request for a different vegetable to include with my steak dinner...the steak and vegetable were very good and very well prepared. Minervas has just become my "go to" spot whenever in town! Thank You Courtney!

The setting and atmosphere is definitely what you come here for. The food is good, and it's very nice that they offer accommodations to change anything that you may have wrong with it or would like to add. Despite that, the food was still not what I would say is super impressive. The desserts were nice and unique, something for everyone.

Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of Gluten Free or Dairy Free options but they offer steaks with cream sauce that are Celiac friendly. Great choice for people who need adjustments.

Not being from the area..
Our experience started bad as the greeter gave us a stand offish attitude. The service was delayed/slow. Food was okay. The appetizer was not. We did get apologies from the manager & wait staff for the appetizer along with a make up piece of desert.

Let me start out by saying our waitress was awesome a nice young woman with dark hair! The maî·tre d that sat us was impersonal and also didn't say a thing as we left. The burger I was told was fine, I was told the lettuce wrap the lettuce leaves tasted soapy but the filling was good, and I had the salad bar which was fine not too tasty but some good choices. If it wasn't for the server we would probably not go back.

The private room bus tour was nice! Everyone loved their food, and I wished for my beef to be more tender.
