The restaurant was filthy, some of the staff looked unprofessional in may ways. The bakery items were stale and old. We kept getting the wrong food. We were overcharged, but when asked to fix the ticket, they did so. Overall, it was not the best experience. However, I will say that our waitress did seem to try, but I believe she was new. She was kind though.
I can't comment on atmosphere at the restaurant, because we ordered it for curbside. The biggest bonus was that it was open late, and very close to our hotel. Most places in the area close at 9, and they were open until 11. The guy was still good quality at that time, and they got our large order correct
This establishment need a major renovation. I had to literally clean my shoes in the parking lot with the rain because they were so sticky from the carpet inside. This Perkins is a tourist spot and it makes Rapid City look extremely ghetto.
Waitress was fine but forgot one of our kids meals. The restaurant is filthy, smells terrible, bathrooms out of toilet paper...in fact one of their own employees was stuck in there because there was no toilet paper.
Well it started out ok minus the dirtyness when first walking in. Once we sat down we were served very quickly however got a salad and let's just say I don't think my rabbit at home wouldn't even eat it. Was rotten lettuce and looked like it was made last week.
However the highlight of the whole experience was they were closing just minutes before we were finishing eating and the cook decided to come out to help clean tables , well doing so he was using the same cloth to wipe off the seats of the booths as the the tables as well. No spray and anything just back and forth from the seats to the top of the tables. I don't even want to know what goes on in the kitchen. 🤮🤢🤮🤢
Awful!! Potato soup was way too salty. Two in our party ordered the soup. I ordered the turkey dinner. Instead of waiting until all the food was ready, the waitress brought out the soup. The other two were finished eating and I still didn’t have my food! We cancelled my food and left. Very poorly run restaurant.
Good food and great service.
I really hate writing this, I flipping love Perkins I've been to many all around the country. Sadly this location is falling apart, I've never seen carpets so filthy, see picture that's litteral sticky muck stuck to the carpets from many years of foot traffic. Missing ceiling tiles exposing duct work and electrical. The bathrooms are basically dirty truck stop bathrooms. If the floor in the dining room looks like that id absolutely hate to see the kitchen. Baffling you guys have even a 3 star rating. After a quick moment of research this location is a franchise owned by Northcott Hospitality. This Perkins is in dire need of a refresh and remodel. I hate writing this review because it can negatively impact the poor wait staff and back of house. But Northcott Hospitality needs to actually put some effort into this location. Food was mediocre at best and all I could think about was the state of the kitchen. I had to send orange juice back it was bubbling as if it was carbonated but it was just sour and bad. Truly sorry to write this review but some needs to say something to save this Perkins location. BEST OF LUCK.
The waitress was great. They were supposedly understaffed, but she was on top of it. The food was good. Only issue was the chocolate muffin I had was the worst Perkins muffin I ever had. It was hard as a rock on the outside.

Food is okay I got a sausage link on mine and it was like half a sausage you can tell where they cut it in half and then tried to round the corners where they cut it to make it look like the sausage was small to begin with bacon was thin no flavor My wife's breakfast was better it was sausage biscuits covered in gravy with an English muffin very good

Ordered a pie 2 days ahead of time. Arrived at pickup time and waited 10 minutes for the pie to be finished. The pie went directly into our refrigerator less than 10 minutes later. I opened the box to serve dessert on Christmas Day and couldn’t believe the mess inside. Check your pickup orders before leaving!!

Great experience in customer service and yummy dinner! Our waiter, Colin, had us seated within a couple of minutes of arrival. Friendly and engaging to provide best service. Love the huge soda selection. My fish and chips were hot and fresh! Place was clean. Convenient location attached by a hallway to our hotel.

Went on a Saturday evening and it was quiet. We were seated right away without issue. Colin was our server and he was awesome. Food was served quickly and tasted great. My first time at a Perkins and I would come back if I am ever in the area.

We visited this Perkins American Food Co. location for lunch and were happy to find a large menu and even surprised they had a senior citizen part of the menu, really cool, we had their cherry pie as well, it was great, decent amount of parking spots here easy to get back on the road
