Extremely rude barista. Asked my name for the order. When I told her my name, laughed out loud saying she just can't.

I told her this was nothing to laugh about and she brushed it off saying she was tired.

While I get that names might be hard to pronounce, have never had a barista laugh in my face for not grasping my name.

The barista here is an exceptionally rude one.

we were in rapid city over a week ago for 3 days and this was our go to place for coffee and breakfast - which was superior to our hotel breakfast and coffee. Not crowded. Quick service. Answered our questions about the bean used, roasting etc.

Love this amazing coffee shop, buy gift cards to share your experience 😋 they have sweet rolls and waffles delicious and the coffee is amazing and I am a coffee snob. Amazing must go to!!

Great place! Great cappuccinos & amazing lavender lemonade! (Sorry no great photos) Staff were super friendly and helpful. Cute stickers too! We returned next day too. I look forward to next visit.

I ordered a $4 16 oz drip coffee
Told it comes with one free refill, which I thought was fair and reasonable as that’s a standard at many coffee houses.

When I went to get my refill, was told they only refill when you use a mug. Ok, why didn’t you put it in a mug from the start since I said I was gonna drink it in house as I work on my laptop… and dude refused to give me a refill and wanted to full charge me for another at full price. which made no sense cause I was owed a refill….

Just put it in a damn mug homie! No one’s asking for more than what u TOLD me before I made the purchase.

Long story short… coffee was good.
But you lost me as a customer, one star review given for bad customer service for refusing a refill that was owed, and creating an unfriendly & unwanted environment for its customers.

This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the coffee and especially the service. I was only in South Dakota for a few days, and this place was the perfect spot to get some work done and relax. I also got to chat with two of the team members Remi & Maria. Meeting them was honestly a highlight of my trip. They were exactly the kind of friendly faces I was hoping I’d run into. They were kind, curious, offered me some great recommendations, and craft a great latte. Thanks Remi, Maria & Pure Bean for making my trip to Rapid City memorable, cheers ☕️

I ordered a salad from Saladz (inside Pure Bean) and a Lavender Rose Lemonade.
The salad had more Quinoa and less lettuce, than I expected. But, it was very good.
The lemonade was amazing!
I am so glad I found this place because I will definitely be ordering some lunch saladz to go!

An iconic coffee house in Rapid City with friendly staff and outstanding tastefully coffee, what a taste! Close to the Obama Statue!

After checking out all of the coffee shops in Rapid, this is by far the best. The coffee is consistently great and the baristas are consistently masterful. How is it that every single one of them makes a perfect latte?? Incredibly impressive. Love love love it here.

The iced vanilla latte was so amazing!! Loved the vibes❤️

They served good cappuccino and matcha, staffs are super friendly!! If you’re around Rapid city and are tired of hotel coffee, this is THE PLACE for a good morning coffee ☕️☀️😎
