I can't go lower than 1 star. We just left store at 2:20 pm on 7/19/24. We bought cheese that said 30% off. We didn't know we had to scan coupon. We went to the lady at end of self checkout and asked if we can get discount or is it too late. Phone just rang. She slammed her hand down and said I have to take this. We left saying sorry to be an inconvenience to you. I thought customers came first. Good customer service guys. I'm sure management don't read reviews.

Good selection of items, but they’d be missing things that would normally be in any grocery store. 8 types of orange juice but no apple juice.

I used to go here all the time, but yesterday I was there to buy a cake, pop, and cupcakes. There was absolutely no selection there. So I went to return the pop I had in my cart to the aisle and then put the cart away (I should’ve just left it in the store randomly) so I could go to Walmart to get the cake but nobody told me about their MAGNETIC carts which stop at the door. I was already in a rush and having a bad day. But the magnetic strip had no warning and no information on it, so it hit my shin super hard which ended up bleeding. And then I kept pushing not realizing it was magnetic so while I was in PAIN there ended up being a line behind me until minutes later an employee came up to take the cart away and undo the magnet thing. so honestly I would NOT go here again. I came daily but that was such a painful and embarrassing experience for me. Their employees are super rude too. I’ve never bothered to say anything because I’ve always gone thru self checkout, but I walked in one time asking for an item to see if they would have it. And the old crabby lady said “you wouldn’t find that in grocery store” all so snottily. And when I tried to joke with her about it, she just look not entertained and turned away. It’s not worth it. Plus I tried to be nice to a cashier thru the line one time and he was the same way. asked him about his day and he had the driest response and didn’t even look at me while talking. There’s a really sweet lady short blacked haired on line 2 that actually talks but other than the security guards (that have more customer service than their actual employees)
This place is horrible to go to. Not to mention how long I usual wait for the fried food and salad is horribly long. Safeway has always been a choice for me, but honestly not worth it anymore. This location doesn’t even have a lot to offer so, respectfully this is a horrible location to go thru.

I’m officially done shopping at Safeway after today. I walked in needing 7 items, I walked out with three. The produce selection was empty, literally. What was left was gross and rotting. Asked an employee to look in the back for a zucchini….. couldn’t find it he said.

Plenty of employees around the store…. Why is no one stocking? Rotating items? Yikes.

This store needs some serious management because what the store was today… was completely unacceptable.

Safeway in general (whether this one or the other one) seriously does not care about their customers. I get it, you're a business but that would be completely moot without customers. Trying to get in contact with anyone to make a complaint is like trying to get a response from the president. I'm fairly confident, with enough finagling, you'd have better luck contacting the president. And I don't mean Biden bc he's not my president. He's currently talking into a banana bc his doorbell rang. I digress. Family Fare is a little pricier but worth it for their customer service. I'll just go there from now on

Always dirty. Produce is horrible. Selection is always low. Most employess are rude (not Mary, she is amazing). Coinstar is always out of order. Never anyone at customer service desk. Likely the worst of this chain I have ever seen in my entire life.

Very displeased with the service as of late. Everything I come in, I am overbearingly being overshadowed by a lady named Brenda and I've tried to let it go but she's gotten more abrasive about the behavior. I've tried to excuse her kindly and reassure her I can use self check and that's why I have chosen it. Tonight I stood in line and she wasn't in self check but her own lane and still she took over the survey filled all the info herself and didn't let me use my phone number. I'm highly debating on changing locations which is ridiculous since this is 2 minutes from my house.
