Worst experience I have had at a sonic. The tables in the dining room were all covered in food and flies. Communication system for taking orders did not work, Payment system did not work,several staff did not want to be bothered and were standing outside and blocking customers to get in and out of the dining area.

These is the worse sonics I ever went to In Rapid City SD. My husband and I got two hamburgers and onion rings, I ended up having to throw my Hamburger away, it was very obvious it was made the day before, the bun was so soaked from the mayo sauce it was like raw dough, the burger was hard and stuck to the bun by the horrible looking melted cheese. I couldn't even pull it apart. It was obvious it was not safe to eat. And we paid $26.29 for this mess. I tried to call the store and no one would answer the phone. We should have known better than to buy anything when the parking lot only had 2 cars in it and the drive up had no one. This was store #6654 at 502 Century Rd, Rapid City SD. We went to the other sonic on Mt Rushmore in rapid city and the same thing. Sonic needs to leave SD. The owner obviously don't care because after being treated like this they want you to do more on another web page. That dose not make things right by us who lost money on this crappy food and restaurant. We will NEVER go back and will tell anyone who will listen.

Food was ok, but cold. No napkins were given, had to ask, we were told they were out of multiple items. Service was slow, card reader didn't work, had to constantly repeat what we wanted to order. Tables were filthy, needed to be wiped down. As we were leaving, there were 4 employees standing just outside the building. We will not be back. Pretty unhappy with it.

I went to pick up a DoorDash order here and the instructions clearly said to use a drive-in stall. When we pulled into a stall, an employee told us we had to go through the drive-thru instead. We ended up sitting in the drive-thru line for about 7 minutes, only for the same employee who was already bringing out other customers’ food to walk our order out to us while we were still in line. It made the wait feel unnecessary and caused the customer’s food to take longer than it should have. The process didn’t make sense and felt very disorganized.

They are probably short staffed, but they take forever. I’ve never had an experience where we got our food quickly at this location or the other. Even when using the app to order ahead, I’ve sat for 25+ minutes waiting on my order.

Ordered a double cheeseburger with ketchup pickles only. The grease was literally dripping out of all sides of the burger. I used at least 6 napkins to eat the burger. Absolutely disgusting and gross. Limited on time so either eat it or go hungry. An hour later I was thinking I should have went hungry. My suggestion: avoid at all cost.
Whole time my online order was wrong I didn't get a chance to tell them my burger was all wrong because they walked away....never going back it wasn't worth my money

The food is mid. The prices are rising. The staff is..... usually missing.visiyed a few times as an experiment. Average wait time for food is 32 minutes, so it is by no means fast food. Sometimes the food is warm, sometimes it is cool (when it should always be hot if its cooked). Selection of items is odd. For some reason a hot dog, fries and a drink is quite expensive (7.69) for a meal that costs 42 cents to make, and the hot dog quality is poor. Corporate Greed is ruining once decent food establishments. .
