What a pleasant surprise to find on our visit to Rapid City. Such outstanding dishes complete with overly beautiful presentation. This chef is so creative! We ate here three times on our week long stay. There were four of us. All meals fantastic and I must mention the wait staff. So very professional and friendly. Wish you'd open a restaurant on Saint Simons Island, GA!! Cheers to you!

Tally's has an interesting menu in that it is really 2 separate menus - one half of the menu has the usual comfort food - burgers, fries, pasta, etc. and the other half has upscale dishes like duck l'orange & asian- and african-inspired dishes. . our server jillian was charming and full of good information about the dishes, the wines and the restaurant's history. if we lived anywhere near Rapid City we would eat here regularly.

We have stopped here for breakfast for many years but ate dinner here for the first time. My meal was excellent and even better than the breakfasts I have had here. The potato leek soup was seasoned perfectly and my Sprig salad hit all the right notes. My husband's Dick's burger was also perfect.

The omelette was overcooked, not good, and took 45 minutes even though it was the special. The service was abysmal. In the 45 minutes we waited for our omelettes, she never once checked on us or refilled the coffee. It was busy when we first got there, but by the time we got our food, it had cleared out and so no excuse.
Delicious food. Very inventive and creative menu. Waiter was very conscious of dietary restrictions and made suggestions. Happy hour BOGO wine and beer special pricing is GREAT!

It was our first time in South Dakota. Three people had the Black Hills Buffalo Burger and one person had the Buffalo Steak Sandwich. Our server Noah recommended a peach sauce to try with the burger and it was sweet spicy and delicious. And the black hill buffalo burger came with a maple syrup bacon butter, and that was also delicious. I recommend anyone to try this establishment.
