I was told they were good for breakfast but didn’t have a chance to try that. We went for dinner. The left side of the menu is burgers, sandwiches, and pasta. It’s all Sysco/US Foods junk. Overpriced and low quality. The ground beef in the burgers was grainy and very low quality. The right side tried a more elevated approach but the flavors were not quite right. Very overpriced for what we got.

Crazy bagels! 🥯 Incredible French toast. 🍞 Omelettes to die for. A few lighter options on the menu as well.
The server was ON POINT! Never lacked for coffee ☕️, condiments, or water at the table.
Highly recommend stopping here if passing through Rapid City, South Dakota. 🍳

Fine if you are a basic white higher income person. This place screams business meeting per diem got me decent food.1st atmosphere was nice upper scale but felt fine in my casualish clothes. 2nd notice the hostess was super nice and welcoming and even busted the tables for our bartender waiter. Unfortunately while that waiter was nice they paid more attention to the bar area than to the few tables they had. Which is fine if the other waiters picked up the slack and checked in on us but they did not they looked right at my eyes ignored me and checked on their table. The bartender waiter well started flirting with a patron and finally asked if that was all and got my check and the table next to us (who ordered and ate before us) our checks. My total sitting time waiting for a check after eating 18 minutes. 3rd food breakfast I got an oatmeal as it was marketed as a breakfast risotto in fruit preserve. My mind would and the culinary world on TV would say that means the oatmeal is cooked in the fruit preserves creating an infused flavor; NOT oatmeal made in water with a preserve liquid drizzled on top. My wife had the Bruleed French Toast which tastes like a crème brûlée but 2 pieces of toast with a little bit of berries for 16 dollars well at least the water oatmeal lacking salt and sweetness was 7 dollars and more filling. I’m sure the lunch and dinner are better, but the hostess save the 1 star review after over an hour and 15 minutes there.

An excellent place for food and company! Their hot sauce goes very well with breakfast foods, and the mimosas hit the spot early in the morning. Located right in downtown Rapid City, Tally's is well located for a meal followed by walking by the President Statues near Main Street.

Everytime I come here the employees are in a terrible mood, like a “why are you here” type vibe first time I came in our waitress was so rushed that the service was pretty crappy, second time, waitress kept asking when we were gonna leave basically. SMH hire people who wanna work lol
I have had patty melts there a lot that were delicious. Today was a pre made frozen soft and gushy patty. Not meat. It was disgusting . Told waiter and he just sorry and gave me a recommendation where to go for a good patty melt.

Great food and generous portions at Tally's for breakfast and lunch. Best eggs Benedict in town. Easy access within downtown Rapid City. I only gave it 3 stars because of the prices - be prepared for your total... it can be a bit heart stopping. $51 for breakfast for 2 people - yikes I'm not sure it's worth it.

Went for the indecision menu, with our children to celebrate a special occasion on 11/15/2025. A quarter sized SPIDER 🕷️ crawled out of my son’s meal.. we were disgusted and very disappointed. Staff made jokes about the situation throughout the rest of the night. In hindsight we should have walked out right then and there, not wanting to ruin the night we hoped things would get better, it did not. I have tried reaching out to a manager online with no response so a review is what I’m left with.
