Today, I walked in and cheerfully said hello to the person behind the counter. Perhaps he was having a bad day… but most people prefer a greeting in response to a greeting, especially in the customer service field. Kid did not greet me in any way at all, did not even look my way. He took my order, with an “I do not care at all” attitude. It was off putting for my first time coming in. I won’t be back. If general customer service is not being practiced, I’m out.
The iced black coffee was bitter and acidic. I also ordered a chai latte with caramel, but it was drenched in more caramel than would ever be necessary at any time in the history of ever, making it undrinkable. Both beverages ended up being poured out, unfortunately.

Long time lover of the Bestro, recently made a cake order for my birthday. After 3 weeks of ordering it I called the day I was supposed to pick it up to check on it since I haven’t heard from them following up on it. They had told me that they had not made the cake and that they had been trying to reach me any of times, and left me many voicemail. I checked with them that they had my right full name, number and email address but I haven’t received a single thing from them. I’m guessing no one passed along my order to the baker and are now trying to blame me for it. Thank you for ruining my birthday and I will not be supporting your business anymore.

This was our first time checking out this lunch spot and I have been craving a good quality lunch sandwich and they did not disappoint! It was so fresh so tasty and the customer service was amazing! We also got a big glass of ice water, a piece of carrot cake and a Caesar salad and everything was fantastic. The price of the sandwich was about $14 so it’s a little high but considering the ingredients were very very high-quality I’m OK with it. I will definitely be back again. I will probably bring my work laptop and do some work there because the atmosphere is really nice as well.

My husband and I visit Rapid City occasionally, so we always make a point to visit the Bestro! The food is home cooked, and made with love. Yummy!! The staff has been kind and accommodating to our needs. It’s easy to communicate questions or concerns with the staff. The portions of food are large, so I always need a to-go box! I enjoy the relaxed cafe style seating.

2 tuna sandwiches, and ice tea & 1 coke. Over $30.00. 3.50 for an ice tea? Food was okay, but won't be going back. Overpriced.

The sandwich I had was delicious! The ingredients were fresh and the bread was tasty. Our group all appreciated the bread not being light instead of the nap inducing dense bread that’s so common. The coconut cream pie was so fresh and well made that we all ate more of it than we should’ve! It’s a little counter order style bistro attached to a lighting store, when we first walked in we thought we’d made a mistake but we were very happy we gave it a shot. The food was excellent and out to us really fast. The staff was very friendly.
Fabulous vegan smoothie! They are so helpful and sweet! I hope to go again.

Visit the Bestro over lunch last week in hopes of findings a great soup and sandwich shop. I ordered the Italian sandwich toasted and my husband ordered the BLT and an Italian soda. The lady at the register was not in the best mood and acted like taking our order was a chore. When the sandwiches arrived the Italian was decent. The BLT however had the thinnest precooked bacon 🥓 and for $14 you would expect fresh cooked bacon. The Italian soda was also not very flavorful. Overall it’s alright, wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again.

Great hidden gem. Fresh food, large menu and reasonable prices. I love their sandwiches and matcha! If you eat too much you can go right into the light store and walk it off!
