The Ugly Grafitti offers highly priced menu items that underdeliver and leave you dissatisfied and regretful. The chicken bacon ranch Mac and cheese has an acidic flavor that is special and unique to this food truck, something I’ve never tasted in Mac and cheese before. It tastes canned and sour, and hardly represents anything resembling cheese. I can say I have never been more thoroughly angry about a purchase of Mac and cheese in my life. Ugly Graffiti Downtown is a quiet and calm restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and consistently provide excellent service, with a fun waitress who checks in often. The food is great, with standouts including the Mac and cheese dishes, steak and mushroom Mac, Korean BBQ Mac, orange beef nachos, Cuban tacos, Cuban nachos, and the best pulled pork in Rapid City. They also make their own sriracha sauce, excellent on tacos or their in-house chips. The chef is super welcoming and explains the menu. The restaurant offers gluten-free options, kid-friendly food choices, and a great beer selection with local beers. The facility is clean and well-maintained. Overall, Ugly Graffiti Downtown provides a wonderful dining experience and is a great choice for families and those looking for a delicious meal.
