Still the best place in the hills to eat. Simple menu, great quality food, mature professional servers and good value for the $. I eat here 2 out of 3 nights when I am in the hills. Only downside is the wait, but what you can say it is amazing.
This can be a great little bar to hang at depending on who is working. Charley is an awesome bartender as well as a couple others. Some leave little to be desired. The bartender and waitress I had Sunday were not on top of things. Waited for a second drink and ended up leaving due to no service.
Last time we were at the Alpine Inn was over 36 years ago when we were a bowling league and my wife and I were just friends always been a friendly and inexpensive beer. Thanks for the memories.
