This place was one of the worse places we’ve ever eaten. Had a fish sandwich- so over done it was like fish jerky. Onion rings so salty you couldn’t eat them. Fish and chips salty and also fish jerky. Burger like shoe leather. Don’t recommend and will never go back. Several tables around us also didn’t finish their food either.

Been here a couple times. Today was not very good. One burger was way over cooked. Had cup of chili and it was cold. Be awhile before we consider going again

Deviled eggs were wonderful. Enjoyed my patty melt with nice, juicy burger. Tater tots and onion rings were crispy and not soggy. Waitstaff are friendly and helpful. I see a bright future for this place!

Went back to give it another try and was disappointed again. Did breakfast the first time and the server didn't even want me there. Made a comment about being up too early and no one should be there. This time went for lunch. We were told by our server we got a choice of side with our burger and then got charged for them. $18 for a hard bun and fries is not worth it. Won't be back. Watched them make a to go rum and coke for a customer as well. Is that even legal? Really poor management.

Hit up big sioux burger with my wife for lunch as we had business downtown. It was interesting, the place was packed which is understandable as it's new. The good was she had the cobb salad. It was plentiful, good, and for the price, a good deal. The bad I had the patty melt, salty on the burger (seasoning?), toasted vs. grilled (which is new to me) and the fries( or tots) as an a la carte option for $6. The staff were absolutely killer! Our issues were the lack of burger options on the menu, just a few. The back of the menu was all breakfast, awesome! But maybe not be the "burger place" with only a few options and the whole back menu was breakfast. Having to add fries for $6 but only being charged for $4 was a head scratcher. I only hope this review is positive feedback for the restaurant and for people going there in the future. Grabbed a quick pic of the patty melt only. No direction on pricing from the staff, but as I said they were great and super aware/tentative to our table while being full in the space. They did have stairs going down to what looked like the falls path and I have zero doubts it's for walking up after parking and enjoying the falls.

Manager kept mad dogging us the whole time. Told bartender “make sure you ID them”. Got hard buns, manager rudely said what do you want me to do then? Brought new buns out and still hard. Went with 2 of my buddies that came to town from Colorado. They said it was one of worst experiences they’ve had and would never go back. Was excited to take them there. At least could have brought us fresh buns.

Good burgers, but not as big of a burger selection as I expected since its main focus is burgers. What we had was good though, and it's great what has been done with the Steel District.

Worked here for a month, was alright while it lasted. Went in Monday to get my check and they refused to pay me, and I heard speculation that I’m not the only one… still waiting for my check.

This place is nothing but a hyped up version of Wendy's the food is mediocre the servers are slow and have very little knowledge of the menu and to top it all off this place fires people then refuses to pay them! I give them less then a year and they will be closed

Good food! Service was decent. We had a very large party and this restaurant is not made for big parties. If you have more than 6 people I would look elsewhere. They accommodated us as best they could but the wait was 1.5 hours after being told 30-60 minutes as they only have one large table. The host was great and kept us informed and seemed to feel pretty bad about the situation. They did give us two apps for free for the inconvenience which was nice as they didn’t have to do that. Overall it was good but don’t go with more than 6 people.

Our server Gio was awesome! My husband had the Onion burger, that was great, I had the Wedge burger that was delicious and my son had the Chicken burger that may be my favorite out of all three! We will definitely be back!

I loved the service!
Mid food. Mid atmosphere.

I hope JL Beers moves in after this place runs out of business. A good burger joint in the steel district will be awesome

Edit:
The pickles were really good, but they forgot them on my burger... (Bubble Bass moment)

Honestly, I was skeptical trying this place after reading the reviews. The food was amazing and the service was even better!! My drink was always full. We were greeted when we first walked in and when we left. We were well care of through out the meal. We had apps and my friends had burgers and I had the Ruben. Delicious!!!!! This place is a must try! Great old bar feel in a clean atmosphere. Keep up the good work!! We will definitely be back!!
