Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen

Saw this place on Triple D so stopped in. I had the Q burger and the Mrs had the Pork Parm and we shared an order of house fry's. Owners of the restaurant please don't take offense to what I'm about to say... The Q burger wasn't bad it just wasn't great. The meat patties were bland, no seasoning at all, the sauce that comes on it had a little flavor but not much. The Mrs had the Pork Parm which was really good. The house fry's which were a really good sized portion didn't come until after we had finished our other food and I was just literally getting up to cancel them. I will try this again, just hope it improves

Great sandwich place. We had the tuna melt and Vietnamese chicken sandwiches. Both were unique takes on their respective meals. Both were excellent. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great place for kids

It had the only PRIDE flag that we saw while in South Dakota! My burger 🍔 was flavorful, salad good, beer selection nice, good customer service n the atmosphere perfect! Clean bathrooms!

The service was horrible. It was quiet when we got there and ordered. While we waited they got busy. The new customers got their food before us. 3 hamburgers took an hour to cook.

I recently visited the Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen and, unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience. I ordered the Heirloom Burger, which came out raw in the middle, making it nearly inedible. The kids’ burger was no better—it was as thin as the slice of cheese on the burger. For $24, I was expecting much more in terms of food quality and portion size, especially since we only ordered waters. It didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth. While the atmosphere might be nice, the food itself left a lot to be desired. I hope the restaurant can address these issues to improve future customer experiences.

This place is a GEM in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls! Recommended to us by a friend who has traveled to Sioux Falls for work and it did not disappoint!! Our crew had the Vietnamese Chicken, Pork Milanese, Falafel, Tuna Melt, and the Heirloom Burger: All were Wonderful!

The bartender was missing pretty much the entire time. When he was around, he never asked how my meal was or if I needed anything. I ordered the Moroccan chicken salad but the lentils were so hard to i had to send it back. They weren’t crispy as the menu said. The bartender seemed annoyed that I didn’t enjoy the salad fully and asked if I wanted a refund or what?! I said I enjoyed the salad so I’ll pay if they can remake it without the lentils. He tried to give me a consolation cookie but I don’t eat desserts. Nice attempt at recovery though

We loved our experience at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen. The service was friendly, the food was fantastic and the ambiance of sitting on the patio, drinking a beer and enjoying our sandwiches with our 3 small kids was very pleasant. Would highly recommend for high-quality sandwiches served in a casual, family-friendly environment.

Employees were nice.

Food is overrated though.
Was told it was a 20-30 minute wait which is standard. However, I ended up waiting about 45 minutes.

Got the chicken sandwich and burger. Was told fries weren't an option instead of chips even though House Fries were listed on the menu. Not sure if they were just out when we visited or what. Was told the chips were "house made" and while I was waiting for my order, I saw a box of chips sitting on a shelf in the back. Chips were very hard.

Chicken tasted burnt and was very dry. So either it was actually burnt or the oil they were using in the frier was super old. I'm leaning towards actually just overcooked.

Burger was just OK. Didn't seem like there was much seasoning on it. I asked for sauces on the side as i had never had the sauces offered before and I got home to realize they weren't in the bag, so that was disappointing. The tomato on the burger was super sad looking and there was no lettuce as advertised. I only requested no pickles when I ordered so everything else should've come with it.

Overall a very disappointing visit. Had I ordered in-house, I would've said something during the visit, but I ordered to-go and didn't discover all of this until I was home, about 10 minute drive. Didn't have time return to have them try to fix anything.

Again though - the staff that I interacted with were very nice while I placed my order and while I was waiting.

First-timers here. We had the Vietnamese chicken sandwich & Korean dip. Both were very good, although the pickled slaw on the chicken sandwich made the bun soggy. Really liked the the patio was dog friendly! Staff taking our order was very friendly & helpful.
