Really amazing meal! I was in town for business and found this place for dinner after an 8-hour drive. So glad I did!
I was conflicted about what to order because so much of their stuff looked interesting to me. I had a chat with the woman behind the register and we collaborated on the following order: Curried Cauliflower, prepared as a salad; falafel with a side order of naan. It turned out to be more food than I wanted to eat but everything was absolutely delicious.
The curried cauliflower is described on their website as Roasted Cauliflower, Yellow Curry, Red Lentil Hummus, Arugula, Cilantro, Radish. It normally is served as a sandwich but I got it as a salad and enjoyed having so much extra salad to chew on. I was feeling a bit vegetable-deprived but this dish fixed that situation. I really enjoyed it from the first bite until I abandoned it to eat the falafel.
The falafel was also pretty amazing. It's described as Whipped Feta, Green Muhammara, Pickled Radish. In reality, the falafel themselves aren't nearly as impressive as the rest of the dish. I used some of the naan to mop everything up and left nothing but the shine on that plate.

One of my go to lunch spots in town. Doesn't miss. Good selection of local craft beers too.

Bread & Circus is one of my favorite local restaurants. I love that their menu regularly changes and continually has vegan options. I had a tough time deciding between my favorite entrée (Falafel on Pita, vegan-style) and the 'Almost Roast Beef'. I ended up going with the falafel, per usual. Their falafel is always available, but the toppings change which keeps it new and interesting.
While waiting for my friend to arrive, a friendly staff member asked if I'd like a drink. I asked if they had a stout, but unfortunately they did not. The staff told me they had a darker porter on tap and gave me a sample. The porter was great, so I went for it.
My friend ordered the gyro, which came on naan. He loved it! I ordered the house fries to share. The staff I ordered from was attentive and kind enough to notice I had ordered vegan & he let me know their fry sauce was not vegan. I knew the fry sauce wasn't vegan, but it's very thoughtful for him to inform me. My friend did tried the fry sauce and enjoyed it. I am a big fan of their house ketchup, so good!
We both finished our meals, only needing a box for the leftover fries & chips.
I highly recommend Bread & Circus, especially if your or someone in your party has a dietary restriction, sensitivity, or allergy! It's the perfect spot for mixed company, covering most dietary needs and preferences.

We had the best experience at Bread & Circus! Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. It was my first time eating here and she had great recommendations. There was a good selection of vegetarian options if that’s your thing. Their beer selection was awesome. I will definitely eat here again.

I got a grilled cheese. Bread was great quality and portions were big. It was from the kids menu though! They need one for adults 😄 Bob Ross was on the TV which was entertaining.

Pork belly gyro. Wow! Really good! It has green stuff in it but I'm not sure what it was, kale, lettuce, spinach, etc. Don't know what it was, but it was very good. It also had gyro stuff on it (whatever that is). Yeah, just eat it. I had to go out of my way to get there and it was well worth it! That tea was very, very good also. Very courteous lady taking your order. Clean. Very unique local place. You all should come.

Ordered the Burger. It was well made, and tasted very good. Limited menu options. At 25$, for burger, chips, soda, and tip... Meh.

I read somewhere online that this restaurant has one of the best burgers and sandwiches in South Dakota, but our experience was completely opposite. The food was pretty average. My burger was bland and kinda tasteless, maybe because it wasn't seasoned properly. I'll stop somewhere else for a better experience next time.

Bread & Circus never misses. I ordered the loaded fries and they came piled high with tender meat, fresh veggies, and crumbled cheese. Flavor explosion in every bite.

First-timers here; what a treat! We tried the Vietnamese Chicken sandwich and the Pork gyro; both were just amazing. Very helpful counter staff, clean establishment with plenty of seating (at 1:30pm). I imagine it could get very busy later on, but we enjoyed everything about this place.
