Our first stop was Brix Wine Bar. The bartending staff went out of their way to make sure our group had four chairs together at the bar. I joked with Marybeth about being in the staff’s way, and she played right along, creating some great banter. Riccardo noticed I was wearing a work jacket, took the time to shake my hand, and made a point to learn my name. We sat outside on the patio and even though it was 85 degrees it was so shady and comfortable. I ordered the pizza and it couldn't have been more delicious. Hank, the manager is so polite and welcoming! He chatted with us and we really enjoyed his professiona, but sweet personality.
