We hosted a bridal shower at Chef April’s and it was incredible! We looked at over 40 event spaces in Sioux Falls and this was by far the best value. Not only do you get a beautiful space that is already set up, you get a custom menu, plates, silverware, napkins, the presentation was gorgeous and there is zero cleanup - Chef April served the cake and cleared plates. All we needed to bring was any decorations we wanted. We were so impressed, and the food and cake was amazing! Recommend her 100% for any event!!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Chef April. Communication was easy. The cake was phenomenal and beautifully done. The cupcakes were perfect. We had so many raves about the gluten free cupcakes as well. Our wedding day was one of our groomsmen’s birthday and we just wanted a birthday cupcake for him. Chef April made him the cutest little cake that said happy birthday on it. To me, thats going above and beyond, and we appreciate it! Thank you, Chef April!

Held a baby shower at Chef Aprils. Everything was amazing. From April and Nickl being so helpful to the gorgeous room and the amazing food. The entire experience was stress free and pleasant. All of the food was so good, but special shout out to the tartlets! The cake was beautiful and so yummy(lemon raspberry). And the total price was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend Chef Aprils!

We’ve gone to Chef April for a few years now for birthday cakes and she always does such a great job at a very reasonable price! She is very easy to work with and hits the mark every time. The flavor of the cakes are our favorite now and we plan on going to her for all of our celebration dessert needs to come!

Chef April did our wedding cake and desserts! From the tasting all the way up until the wedding, she was awesome to work with! Everything arrived on time and perfectly! We got so many compliments on how good the desserts were!! We would definitely recommend her!

Cupcakes were beautiful. But the color I wanted and gave them a picture wasnt what i wanted. The cupcakes were dry. Probably wont get anything from them anymore.
Update...they made our cakes in a week advance instead of making it fresh. I guess if your arent spending big money they dont care about u. Unacceptable to serve week old cakes when u paid for them fresh. Holy cow even Hyvee makes them better.

The Crafty Redhead (Cheyenne)

Delicious, beautiful, great price! Chef April made a gorgeous vintage heart shaped cake for my daughter's 16th birthday. It was 4 layers of marble deliciousness with strawberries in between! She even dusted it with sparkles!! ✨ Thank you so very much Chef April!!

Ordered cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. I asked for Trolls theme with decorations. I was charged $65 for 2 dozen cupcakes that look terrible. I should’ve just gone to Hy-Vee or anywhere else..

Chef April created the cakes for my daughter's wedding. We ordered a 2 tier cake for the bride and groom and layer cakes for the guests. The cakes were absolutely beautiful and were delicious! I lost track of how many compliments we received. Chef April is wonderful to work with and has a gift for created delicious treats.

I should have doubled up on every single bite of yummies! The guests absolutely loved every dessert and gobbled them up as soon as they came out. Amber went out of her way to create traditional Romanian desserts that are a big part of my culture. I can't thank her enough for taking the time and effort to create the recipes to match the flavor exactly to the originals. Our cake was purely bliss and tasted so delicious! Thank you April for making our dream wedding come true with all of our favorites!

My husband and I have followed Chef April and Chef Nick from when they started a huge chunk of their career at CJ Callaways and now to their very own shop. Some of my favorite things that we have gotten over the years have been Chef April’s white buttercream cakes with the raspberry and lemon filling and pumpkin cheesecake. Chef Nick would be the lobster and crab dip along with seafood chowder and Chicken Cajun pasta!
