I really really wanted to give this place five stars for food however my classic smoked chicken sandwich had ZERO sauce. As you can imagine, very dry. The chicken itself with smoked to perfect perfection with amazing flavor. The fries also have great taste, but need to be cooked a little bit longer. I would return in hopes that this was just a one off experience
This is my go to chicken place, the chicken is always good. Portion sizes are generous for the price compared to other places. But their fries are something else. Definitely my favorite fries to get in Sioux Falls very flavorful never soggy and never overcooked.
I love Chick N Max and recommend them to others. I am a picky chicken eater and do not like chicken that tastes too chickeny/juicy/greasy and Chick N Max is just right! Their chicken strips & popcorn chicken are so flavorful (and great sauces!) and they are not overly breaded. I also really enjoy the crunchy breading on their unique onion rings (not sure if any other restaurant in SF serves onion rings like these?) and their deviled egg potato salad is excellent, as well...
