First time at Daily and I was not impressed. The girl & guy behind the counter were no help at all, and blankly stared at us when we asked a question. They offered no help with specials or what was good or popular to eat. I asked about having a salad made into a wrap and the guy said “we can’t do that!” Unless their one wrap is pre-packaged, they could definitely do that. Very high priced for the little portions…I left there still hungry and went home to snack. Way too much good food in Sioux Falls, so I definitely won’t be back.

Yum! Tasty, quick food and friendly people! Bonus is they make so many healthy options. It’s never cheap when I go…but that’s because I always need a smoothie, an entree, and a treat!

I LOVE the concept of this cafe - healthy, high quality ingredients served in a fast casual setting. And this place has a lot of things going for it with a few major downsides.

First, the atmosphere is great. Bright, airy, clean with plenty of seating (main floor, patio and even has an upstairs). And, the açaí bowl (we ordered two of them) was genuinely one of the best I’ve had - creamy, rich and delicious topped with fresh ingredients.

Unfortunately, the location left a few items to be desired. Most frustratingly, their hours online (Google and their website) were incorrect. So we made a trip across town on a Saturday afternoon with three small kids in tow just to find a sign taped to their door notifying patrons of their updated hours. This was frustrating, as we had checked Google and their website and both, along with the permanent hours on their door, had the old hours listed. So maybe call before you visit?

Second, the service left a lot to be desire. There were three young girls there when we visited and all were on their phones at one point or another during our visit. They were not rude, but could benefit from some training in providing a warm, welcoming experience for patrons, especially when they are paying $80 for a meal out.

Which brings me to my final point - the prices. I realize with high quality ingredient, you’ll end up paying more, but we ended up paying $80 for breakfast for our family of two adults and two toddlers (baby had nothing) ordering two açaí bowls, two entrees, a coffee and a smoothie.

Food is good, but not worth the price, IMO. Get a loaf from Breadico (right next door!) and make it yourself if you're really craving one of the toast items!
