A MUST if you need an event space for a family gathering.

My wife and I hosted a wedding reception here last weekend and planned everything through email with Tina as we live out of state. The people did an incredible job with being flexible, cost effective, and so so so accommodating to our hopes for the event, from coordinating with local florists to match photos of my wifes bouquet for centerpieces to being directly in contact with our catering service. The space and service for our 100ish guests was outstanding with so many people relaying how incredible the event felt to them.

I rarely will leave reviews but this was such an easy experience for us in terms of planning/execution and with the degree of positivity we received from our guests, I knew I needed to say something.

A very big thank you from my wife and myself. Please consider this for your next event! (Or just a tasty, beautiful background to your Sioux Falls excursion)

This was such a cute stop with so much history shared. The atmosphere was great even with the rain. Unfortunately, the food is not worth stopping pretty much just hotdogs and pre made wraps. The soups came out of a crockpot and were pretty cool. However, if you are stopping through and need a bite of ice cream or a quick soda this is definitely a great place to stop. The staff was very nice.

Good spot to stop and grab a bite while taking in the view of the falls. There’s ample indoor seating, for those inclement weather days, and outside seating too. The food is pretty basic but, filling, especially for the price. Kids meals come with an apple juice, or chocolate milk, and apple sauce. The path to the park is connected to this establishment, making a post meal walk very easy.

Got a sandwich and a twisted tea , sat out on a gorgeous Friday afternoon and had lunch with my old Army buddy. So relaxing and the scenery was spectacular . They have different soups, sandwiches and desserts, also a gift shop. Tip: there's only a handful of tables outside. So check before you go, you'll see how full it is as you walk up. Worst case scenario you can eat indoors too

The building interior does not allow patrons to see the falls. The food is mediocre and overpriced, sausage dogs, small salads and blah wraps. Outside the falls are magnificent and the outdoor tables allow enjoyment to the max. It is an amazing place poorly merchandised.

They closed an hour early. I’m typing this review at 7:20 P.M. 7/8/24. I walked in with my significant other, hoping to try the ice cream. There were 3 boys behind the sales counter. They looked African American descent. One of em is an employee, but the other two I’m not sure. I asked em why they closed early. The main worker told me, “I don’t know”. I replied back, “you don’t know? Hmm. Okay I get it. You don’t want to work and close up shop early.” Then I proceeded to ask who the owner is. Same response. So if the owner didn’t make this decision, I hope this gets noticed because the whole situation and the fact that they closed an hour early, when their business hours clearly state that the store closes at 8:00 P.M. is ridiculous… from a business owner’s perspective that is terrible for business. Why do you even have a business if you’re going to close it an hour early on a summer’s day, when the falls is quite populated with hungry people. What a joke.

It is a little pricey and the food is ok. The ice cream was good and I would recommend it. But you walk outside and it is beautiful. The setting made the stop here worth it.

Food is disgusting. Grilled cheese, is like chewing on a hard dog biscuit and has zero flavor. The kids menue said entree, drink, apple sauce - but they're out of apple sauce. Noh7ngryt really sure what the hot dog is made of,, but its gross.. Only kettle chips available. Drinks are extra for $3. Don't waste you time, money or appetite. I would give negative stars if available

Well, the ice cream was good. But I didn't tip because we got ice cream. .
I paid 36 dollars. And my account was charged 44. Someone added a generous tip to my ticket after I signed for the charge. Despicable.
