Fernson is sooo great. We came for the Farmer wants a wife premiere! The bar tender Rebekah was fantastic! Cutest cowboy hat ever!

Beer selection is great, the seed series are the way to go! Bathrooms are cold and smell like stinky farts though...it's not their fault!

Great brewery, I had the Lions Paw which was smooth and refreshing. The guys who were working there were so friendly, pleasant and very happy to tell us great places to visit, not just in Sioux Falls but elsewhere in SD. I feel customer service makes it or breaks it for me and they were top notch. They also were very knowledgeable about the beer and helping us to decide which one we would enjoy the best. Again, beer was great.

Great beer selection. Plenty of indoor/outdoor sitting area. I sat at the bar and enjoyed one of their light beers. I did not try their food.

First time at Fernson Downtown. I love their beer (Lions Paw & Ears Up are my favorites). When I drink beer, I prefer to go with a local beer. I love their flights to give you a sample of other beers they are brewing. Seating inside and out. Patio outside has plenty of shade.

Great brewery that has just the right amount of updated and eclectic feel to it. Nice patio outside and greenway just outside of that for the kids to burn off some energy while the adults enjoyed a beverage. I was only able to try one beer (Shy Giant IPA) this time, but it was delicious. I wish I would have bought some crowlers to go. Burgers were good, but a little charred for my liking (and the kids). They seemed to eat most and generally aren't very picky. It was a great experience overall for coming in on a Saturday with 3 families and 9 kids in tow.

The beer was great. We had a pale ale and hazy IPA. Flavorful and small batch. The food was average. Personally, I wouldn't go back for the food. It wasn't anything to rave about. The patio is nice and the bathrooms were clean. Our food total was about $30. We had the Effing Crispy Chicken sandwich and Chipotle Mayo burger. We both had fries. Maybe the waffle fries are better but the regular fries were too crunch and over fried. Parking was free after 5pm on a Friday.

We camped at the KOA across from the main brewery and were so sad it wasn't open to the public, we'd have been regulars!! The downtown location is definitely worth the ride though, it's a very nice, comfortable and inviting space with great friendly service. We stopped in for some brew and snacks after doing some of the touristy things in town. We started with a flight to find that one unique brew like no other and a couple appetizers. The cheese curds are delicious! Nice light breading and all melty, stringy and gooey, just like I like them! The stuffed pretzel was totally unique and fun, didn't need any of the beer cheese dip, they were good all on their own! They're a brewery first and foremost and the brew is where it's at! The sours are sour, the lagers are light and the stout stands up to it's name! Our favorite was the Lemon Pie Milkshake, that stuff is so good!! We got a couple crowlers of that to go then headed on down the road for more touristy stuff!Definitely should be a stop on everybody's Sioux Falls adventures!

I got the chislic and my wife got the spinach artichoke dip, and we split the cheese curds. The dip was just okay, but everything else was pretty good, as was the beer. It's a cool place and we'd come back!

Good beer, good food, and good service. Bonus: the staff is super friendly and helpful. The cook even checked on us and chatted with us. They treated our kids like they were just as important as the adults.

This is our downtown go-to spot. Always great beer and food. They recently expanded their menu, which is phenomenal. Their patio is the perfect spring/summer spot.
