Disappointed they didn’t make the sandwich right. Ordered the bbq cheddar brisket sandwich and they didn’t put bbq sauce on it 🤦🏽‍♀️ poor attitudes. Don’t recommend.

Came in and the store didn’t appear to be busy. Second time coming here.…Im from the other side of the safe and the first time the food and service was amazing! Tonight when I came in There were 3 employees working one at the register and 2 making sandwiches (assuming). There was one group in front on me ordering (3 sandwiches). The employee at the register claimed they had been busy that day but moved like he had molasses for shoes. When I ordered I told him twice I did not want mayo on the sandwich.

It took 20ish minutes to get my sandwich, I watched people receive theirs who arrived after me. When I got back to my vehicle and was on the road, I wasn’t driving, I bit into the sandwich and received a mouthful of mayonnaise.

To say I was disappointed in the service is one thing but to get a mouthful of mayo when I asked for none is unreasonable. Stopping at firehouse was a highlight of my trip to Sioux Falls and it ended in disappointment.

This used to be my favorite sub place but for the past 2 years, every time I go there, it's like they are trying to ration ingredients! Meat and cheese are half of what it used to be. On a medium sub, there was 1 single ring of onion, half on each side, 1 tomato slice, half on each side and literally a sprinkle of lettuce! There was only 1 ingredient you could taste and it was the mustard, had tons of that! Yuck! These are spendy, would at least like some veggies if I can't get the meat and cheese portion anymore! They must have come down on how much meat and cheese they put on them to save money. They aren't the same anymore, it's mostly just really expensive bread and mustard! Threw half my sandwich away, gross! What a shame, used to be amazing subs! This was the last time I go, gave it several tries over 2 years and still bad.
