Super sad about the quality today. Got a Carmel roll(my favorite) and was so dry (even tho it sits in sauce) I just finally threw it away. I thought for sure they made these fresh daily. Then tried a bite of a cake donut with maple icing and it was also dry and crumbly. I thought THESE were made fresh daily as well. Definitely felt like that was an absolute waste of money. Customer service 5 stars, everything was spot on BUT the food. Super sad. Could have excused one of the items tasting day old (and it was 9am when purchased) but all 3 items tasted days old.

Very mid experience. Eaten more of these than I probably should admit because it seems everybody in this city buys them and they're laying around in everyone's office. The bacon one is really interesting to try. Their cream filled ones with topping are kinda bussin. But fr this place just isn't it fam.

Good experiences for the most part. I was however charged randomly after not being there for over a week, customer service will not give me a refund. I never went in on said day nor did i receive any donuts. All i received was a withdrawal from my account. Upsetting cus i ain’t goin back again, make my one damn donuts.

I do not live in SF -but have family that does. On one of our visits, we stopped at FBD. The donuts were 5 star - that being said, I have had donuts delivered twice for birthdays since then. Stacey and her fellow associates were amazing! Ordering was easy - scheduling (and modifying) delivery was easy - the “happy birthday” donuts were such a nice option! In my opinion, FBD deserves far more than 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

JAMES, never met him or seen him ever and he deserves to be treated with human to human love and respect. Even though he showed the exact opposite early this a.m. 10/16/2025 before 7:30 to my family. He ran out of the store begging for us to come back to give us free donuts and his excuses for his negative transaction. He didnt interact with us at all until his name was asked and we got up and left! Regret purchasing the doughnuts as well from him, gave him that 1!!

Horrible experience this a.m. Never will I return my business to this establishment that is supposed to be family-oriented. The worker, James, couldn't even say one word to our family when receiving our doughnuts and checking out - not one smile, nothing. Then, after I asked his name, he tries to be nice and offer doughnuts for free, running out the door! Why wasn't he just nice to begin with? It was early, we wanted a fun morning. I get being overworked and understaffed, but that shouldn't stop the worker from being kind to customers!!

Rude employee. Very rude. Looked like he was angry at the world. If he hates his job so much, he should get another, and not take it out on POTENTIAL repeat customers! Will never go to this location ever again. Eating a good donut is a treat and is supposed to be a positive experience, not like this.

Last time we were here, it was better than this time. We did get 6 free glaze donuts, which was nice, but overall, the quality is not quite the same. I had long. John's last time this time ahead.The yeast cake donuts, not nearly as good as the long johns
