Some of the food was cold or French toast was hard as a rock. Wouldn't go back for a brunch. Ended up in the bathroom all day after lunch
Food was good and our server did a great job! The people working at the hostess stand could be a little nicer though.
Went on New Year's Eve, reservations still had to wait! Service was good! Food is ok! Prices were reasonable!

We walked into the restaurant and our reservation time to an OVERCROWDED waiting area to find that not only was our table not ready, but there were five others with the same reservation waiting as well. Once seated, we ordered our meal immediately upon wait staff acknowledging us, and I ordered a beer as well. We ordered the four-course meal for two. Twenty minutes later, the appetizer was delivered. Three minutes after that, the soups showed, two minutes after that the entrees showed. No beer yet. I asked about the beer. It took thirty-five minutes for the beer to be served to our table. We really weren't checked on, and my wife had to go to the bar to get refills of her water three times. One of those times she has made the request of the server who was passing by but took so long that she finally just went and got it herself. I realize that it was a special occasion, but the occasion wasn't a surprise. It's the same day every year. Reservations and waiting areas need to be managed, and the facility needs to be staffed properly to not only provide the service that's being paid for, but to manage the timing of kitchen output.
To start they were busy, it was New Years Eve. We got seated on time; waitress took drink and food order in nice time. We received our drinks and appetizers from someone other than our waitress in decent time, but it took another 45 minutes to get our salads after flagging her down and reminding her. Food came 10 minutes later. Waitress only stopped to check on us once after we ask busboy for more water and he tracked her down. Usually have good service here but not this time.
We had reservations NYE 5:30, seated 5:20. Waiter came asked for soda orders . She mentioned Pasta Night, get Unlimited Salads. Ordered French Onion Soup and salad ahead of food. Came within 10 minutes. WHOLE TIME UNTIL 6:30 NO FOOD! IF Unlimited Salads, why wouldn't she have offered me another? Why wouldn't she have asked for soda refills - we NEEDED them. Check if our food was food? Pasta Night so would have been Fast . I got her attention to us back in the corner table at ONE HOUR and she said she would check. Of course I watched her take our plates off the warmer under the lights as they had been sitting there close to an HOUR!! She said plates are VERY HOT - I bet they were Warmed by all the lights for an hour. My husband had french fries - imagine those after an hour under lights :( His burger ordered Rare so likely could have been out within 10 MINUTES as well as my Pasta Night ready to go . My noodles on Tuscan Shrimp after one hour under the warmer - Not So Good :( Then we need refills after ONE HOUR! Then we had to ask for napkins and salt shaker was Empty! She Never offered "Unlimited Salad" the whole evening. The table left beside us, with a Different waiter, and literally left a whole salad they got for unlimited - whole chocolate milk untouched whole strawberry drink for kids untouched. They had more service than they could eat. We had NONE. We should have been offered a Huge DISCOUNT on our meal at the very LEAST. I hope this will go to Management and we will be compensated for a HORRIBLE NYE Dinner. My husband wanted to get up and leave and go to Taco Bell- we should have and she would have never noticed! It was fine considering it was busy. Our waitress was busy but still paid attention to our table.

The chicken artichoke sandwich was tough. My partner liked the French onion soup. The martinis were skimpy. Our server was attentive, but overall the food and drinks were average at best.
Service was very good! Pleasant, prompt, informative. Food was ok. Turkey was dry, sweet potatoes good if you got them very soon after being set out, otherwise they weren't hot. Nice selection of food, but way overpriced for quality. This was our 3rd year coming to this and won't be going next year due to increase in price and selection of food.
Food was delicious and there was a nice selection on the buffet. All the standard thanksgiving fare and more.
Granite City has great food and makes a great place to sit and visit with family and friends while enjoying a great meal!!
We weren't greeted until 20 minutes after we were seated. When we finally ordered our drinks it was another good 20 minutes until we saw the server again to order our food. When our appetizers came she didn't bring any plates and wasn't around for us to ask for any. Our food took forever to come and the flatbreads were cold. We had two people splitting a meal and she didn't bring an extra plate, again. We only saw the server once later when she brought the check.
