We used half baked for our wedding. The cupcakes were great but, the customer service was not the best. It was very hard to get anyone to respond to us. Usually at least a month between emails and multiple follow ups. I finally was able to finalize everything and get an invoice a few days before the wedding.

Very disappointed!! We ordered cupcakes ahead of time and set a date to pick them up 4 days ahead of time. When we went to pick them up the store was locked and dark, even though they told us they would be open and the hours on the door indicated they were open as well. Their phone was going to voicemail and wouldn't let us leave a message. When we called the next day nobody answered even though they were supposed to be open as well. When we got ahold of them the following day and explained the situation they hung up on us. So disappointed! They used to be a place we frequented.

It was empty inside which didn't surprise me after my bad experience: I just wanted to use the bathroom, and as I am a woman, I might have needed it urgently; and the barista inside told me â€you cannot use the bathroom if you are not a customer! “ and he didn't even say “sorryâ€. Such a wasted person! Even though we wanted to buy a cup of coffee with my husband after using the bathroom, we gave up, simply left and responded “Thank you for being a bad person!†Because without bad people, you would never understand the real value of nice people!!! Then, we simply went to “Coffea†cafe, only 1 block away and full of customers. There, nobody says anything when you use the toilets and nobody kicks you out if you sit inside for hours; besides, they offer free water and welcome you warmly!

Stopped in yesterday merely because we had 20 minutes left on our parking meter and decided to take a quick stroll as not to waste it. My bf ordered a Monster cookie dough cupcake with Hobo Crunch ice cream. The " frosting" on the cupcake was outstanding- literally monster cookie dough, oatmeal and all. I ordered chocolate chip ice cream with espresso poured over top and it was HEAVENLY! ADORABLE spot,prompt service, great prices. Several little cupcake shops in Sioux Falls but this one, uh, well, takes the cake. Go!!

Very disappointed! We placed an order in advance and when we showed up on the agreed-upon date for pick up the store was dark and no one was there. It was during the normal business hours posted on the door and when we tried to call nobody answered. It was the same situation when we tried to get ahold of them the next day. Finally, two days after we were supposed to pick up our order, they answered the phone. When we explained the situation the employee that had answered the phone hung up. We used to use this place all of the time, but I am so disappointed we were treated this way and will not be returning.

I emailed the main company email to schedule a wedding consult and discuss pricing. They did not answer, so I called the store, not mentioning they didn't respond to my email. The store then told me the best way to schedule was to email them, so I forwarded my previous email back to them and apologized for being a bother since they may have just been busy. They got back to me and let me know what pricing would be like, which I appreciated since some places are not upfront with pricing. She said she would be happy to meet with us, so I replied with the day of the week we would like and asked for times that would work. She never replied and at that point we let them go as an option and moved on. I didn't want to stay on top of them to answer my emails, and they are a vendor that should be working to get our business, not the other way around. Maybe this isn't the norm, but I think it's not acceptable for that to ever happen.
This place is seriously so cute and comfortable. There are lots of tables available inside, and it's extremely spacious. A great place to study! Especially because it stays open very late. I got the raspberry dark chocolate cupcake. It is seriously one of the best cupcakes I've ever had; the frosting wasn't too sweet, the cake was moist and soft, and they were able to perfect the ratio of raspberry flavoring to chocolate. I also ordered an iced latte with almond milk. "What can go wrong with an iced latte?" A lot, but this place managed to create a perfect latte.

Stopped into Half Baked to get out of the cold and found a taste treat sensation! Half Baked had a sit down and chill kind of feel. The hubs ordered a very well made and tasty iced coffee and a Scotcheroo Cupcake to share later. Back in our hotel room we tried the Scotcheroo Cupcake. WOW! It has a peanut butter and Rice Krispies base, peanut butter buttercream and is covered in chocolate and toffee bits. If you are a peanut butter lover, or not, you will not be disappointed taking a big bite out this "cupcake!" Go get you some sweet goodness. Happy eating Yelpers!
