Food is great, service, and cleanliness, not so much. Our rice was forgotten, and it took 15 min to get a refill of coffee. Yet sitting right by the kitchen, staff was clearly standing around. From the bathroom, ceilings, walls, floors, everything needs deep cleaned. Cleaning the buffet bars and counters is needed, throughout normal service. It really is quite disgusting when going to eat. The cooks used alto keep the grill and run off, much cleaner too.
Unfortunately not the best huhot ive been to. Not the best sauce or topping selection. Definitely had better in Wisconsin, i was bummed it wasnt the same here! Especially for the price
HuHot was a decent experience overall. The food tasted good, but I had some questions about the freshness...nothing tasted off, but it had that “maybe frozen and thawed” feel. Hard to explain, just didn’t come across as super fresh.
The restaurant was also pretty cramped. Tables were packed in too close, and with how busy it was, it felt a little chaotic. It was also messier than I’d like, but again, they were slammed, so I’ll cut a little slack there.
