What fell a little short for me was the garlic naan. If I’m craving really good garlic naan, I’d still make the trip across town to Shai Palace. Indian Oven’s version didn’t have much garlic flavor, and I found myself wishing for a bit more of that classic punch. One thing that stood out, though, is their menu. They offer several dishes I haven’t seen at other Indian restaurants in town, which makes me want to go back and try something new next time. The environment feels a little more like fast food—simple, straightforward—but it’s not actually fast food. You can sit down and dine or order to go. I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area, especially to explore more of their unique offerings.“
