Wife and I had a date night after hearing JL had good burgers, the burger I had was freaking amazing. Fries were not great but the chips looked great will try them next time.

I have never experienced such rude management. We came in with a party of 8, was told to wait at a 3 top and stand in the corner. We obliged. Then, not 5 minutes later we got kicked out from the 3 top so they could seat later customers. We proceeded to wait an extra 10 minutes before being seated in a shitty booth that didn't fit our whole table. When my husband approached the manager about the poor serve we received after being told to stand at the 3 top, he said "I'm the manager and if you want to give more attitude you can get the fuck out." Safe to say we left and won't be back. I've never experienced this before and was appalled at how rude the manager was. We had been here before and had positive experiences so this was just shocking to say the least.

Probably the best bar in town! It has a great chill atmosphere even when busy, the food isn't too expensive and is absolutely delicious, and the staff are all very friendly! My favorite burger is the Not Just A Nutter Burger, and the loaded fries are amazing as well! Highly recommend this place!

Great, greasy burgers and fries with satisfying suds! JL Beers in Sioux Falls nails the classic burger joint vibe. Juicy patties, crispy fries, and a stellar beer selection. Casual, friendly atmosphere. Perfect spot for a laid-back burger and brew experience!
We came for the burger battle! Seating was limited - but it was in the heart of the burger battle. We sat at the bar - keep your jacket on - draft is cold every time the door opens! The burger was unique - a hint of spice - delicious overall. I enjoyed the unique additions and combination of flavors!

They have 4 booths (I think) and a very long bar.Most sit at the bar. The bartenders were very busy but they were keeping up with requests. We sat next to the cooks and everything is made fresh. Fries. Burgers etc. Was neat to see how streamlined they were. We ordered the slaw burger and it was delicious. Price was better then expected. Wife and I split burger. Staff was good. Very busy place. Hard to find some parking on a Friday night. The pavilion parking is best option if Street is full.
