Johnny Carinos holds a special place in our hearts, not specifically the SF location but the Fargo location which now is closed permanently. It's the place we had our first date, where he proposed, and where I told him we were expecting our daughter. This past weekend we just had to go to the Sioux Falls location and have supper. It was fairly busy when we got there around 7:30pm. The Manager was working the front, the bar, and also serving. He was great with all the customers....
it had been years since we had been there. service was good, food was good but the sound all around us became too much for my son. he's 15 months and he was putting his hands over his ears. the combination of everyone talking around us and the music just became too much for him. I will admit it was a bit over stimulating.
My brother and I stopped here for lunch. They have a special lunch menu Monday thru Friday that includes the soup or salad...but just beware the lunch portion and the dinner portion are served on the same plates. We got the skillitini catchatorre maybe my spelling is off. Come out in a piping hot skillet it was not bad but not great. The fresh bread was not bad. Our server was Jada she was awesome and very helpful. The atmosphere does not have a great vibe more of a chain resruranty...
