the food is different than what youd expect and thats what sets them apart. its unconventional but not any less when it comes to taste or presentation. i had biscuits and gravy. the biscuits were flat but huge and the gravy wasnt a typical color but they both tasted excellent.

A hidden sioux falls gem. Just a half a block up phllips ave. I've been here several times and every time the food has been great and the service came with a smile. Lots of options for breakfast and lunch. They allow leashed dogs. Yes, even your "emotional support dog" is welcome as long as its leashed. Atmosphere is that of enjoyment and happiness. No TVs. That's a big plus for me. Parking can be difficult at times. Place is always, always, busy, so plan accordingly. Menu is on the wall behind the cashiers. Pastries and coffee drinks. They really have everything. Don't mind the bad reviews. This place is consistently great. I just avoid coming here on holidays because they get very busy.

Are you kidding this place is the litmus for coffee shops. When you're able to plug in your laptop and unplug your dog in the same seat you're in heaven. This is also in my top 10 best espresso places outside of Europe.

Josiah's never disappoints me! If you can tolerate standing in line to wait to order, you will be rewarded with good wholesome food in a welcoming atmosphere. The fact that they welcome leashed dogs may be off-putting to some but the canines have never been intrusive in my experience of the place. The service is friendly and super-efficient! The portions and price point are also good. Barista-made drinks are very good. They even have take-home dishes already prepared, in refrigerator and freezer cases! Josiah's is a great place to eat!

Good coffee, but desperately needs a gender neutral / family bathroom. It’s time to catch up to the modern world, not to mention all of the poor dads I’ve seen struggling with young daughters and the gendered bathroom dilemma.

Friendly staff, great food, and neat atmosphere! The eggs benedict with ham and side of hash browns was great and the breakfast burrito was huge! The staff was great at making recommendations.

Too crowded, never got to order. In line with a dog lovers pet. Couldn't help but see the fur fly every time this mutt's tail hit my leg!! Would it be acceptable for me to bring my child and have them wipe their snot on a customer's leg? I think not. Was really looking forward to this place. Menu looks awesome. Pet hair not included.

This is a very hip place in SF! Love the atmosphere and vibe. Rustic, industrial chic. So cool. Food is out of this world outstanding!! Just enjoyed their Burger Battle burger, which I believe may only be available in January, not entirely sure though. Unbelievable burger!! Juicy, hamburger patty, brisket, and sausage link cut in half and laid split on top, plus a rich bbq sauce. It was phenominal!!! Hope they win the battle! Service was very friendly!! I already can't wait to stop in again and try something different on their extensive menu. Also heard their desserts are amazing. Quite full after the burger, so will have to go back and grab a cookie, bar, or dessert of some sort as they all looked amazing!! Highly recommend!!!
