This is a very nice place, don't get me wrong! The staff is very friendly and seemed quick. However, the food was cold when we got it. I had the Hot Beef Sandwich, and all was room temp. Wife got the pineapple express, and it was the same. I hope our experience was just an off.

We have tried Kalidis twice now because I’ve read great reviews but unfortunately our experiences have both been awful.The first time my husband ordered steak and eggs, the “steak” was 3 slices of overcooked beef and the eggs were cold. My chicken and waffles were flavorless and waffle was ice cold in the middle. Chicken was barely warm but because it took over 45 minutes to get it we had no time to ask for replacement(there were only 2 other guests at the time).The second time we tried bacon avocado omelette. Again service was incredibly slow and when the omelette was placed on the table it was so disappointing. The avocado on top was brown, not even slightly green. Bacon was burnt to a crisp and omelette was burnt as well. Only decent thing about the experience was the coffee.Went to use the restroom (which is so dark dingy and dirty!)only to find the stall doors locked. Server said “it’s always out of order”.So many great options in SF but Kaladi’s is not one of them imo. I really don’t understand all of the positive reviews.

Randy was our waiter - while he tried, it was not a great result. The food was good, but not great. My wife wanted a Cobb salad replacing the bleu cheese for cheddar cheese, as she is allergic to bleu cheese. The salad came with bleu cheese and no cheddar. She asked for it to be remade. This took some time, so she asked for it to be in a to-go box. When we got home with the to-go box, it was obvious that they tried to scrape off the bleu cheese, but we found plenty in the box. Not very happy with this result.

Started devouring before it dawned on me to take a picture lol. So, the pictures do NOT do this place justice! Server Hailey was such a sweetheart and her manager was friendly and everyone just made you feel welcomed. Great selection, wonderful food, definitely try!

Went in this morning to have breakfast and a server in her early 40s, a taller, stout woman with glasses was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked if I could be seated by the window and she very condescendingly told me no and moved me to the darkest corner. Only two tables had guests and there was no reason why she had to be so rude about it. I then politely told her I'd go somewhere else and she rolled her eyes and smacked the menu on her table. I left and won't be returning. That was hurtful.
My quesadilla was absolutely flavorless, no spices or anything. Also the pineapple in my fruit bowl was canned, not fresh, and hey, it’s only a couple blocks to HyVee. One party ordered a caramel roll that was completely inedible. There was no sweetener in the caramel sauce but lots of cinnamon. Several tasted it at our table and couldn’t get the bad taste out of their mouth. We received no apology and no refund. We were a party of 11 and there were only about another 8 people in the whole place. Service was fair. We don’t eat out that often and we won’t be back.

We haven’t been at this restaurant for a while, but have to say, we probably won’t be back for awhile.Service was good but the omelet and hash browns were oily and and unbeatable. The hash browns were Squares that were dripping with oil. The omelet too had a puddle of oil on it and was hard brown crust on it!I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt that this one was necessary.
