Good coffee & great artwork from local artists on wall.
While the food at Lalunas was a definite highlight, my overall experience was underwhelming, landing it at a solid three stars. The sunrise pizza I ordered was fantastic—perfectly prepared and flavorful, which made the long wait even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, and it seemed like the staff was stretched thin. To top it off, they completely forgot to make my shake. With some improvements to their speed and attention to detail, this cafe has the potential to be a five-star spot.

Stopped for a quick coffee. This place was great. Had no idea what to get, and they offered some great suggestions. Ended up with a drip coffee and a Horchata latte—both delicious. Thanks for the great service and treat!

This place is the perfect place for a quick meet up or to get some work done in a peaceful environment. The art displayed ranges in types but all comes together to be very visually pleasing! Even the bathroom is artsy! Absolutely love it and highly recommend.

The interior is clean and comfortable with a nicely constructed style. We experienced several less than ideal transactions, however the experience was not, overall, regrettable.
I would recommend saving a cash tip for after your service instead of tipping as you pay, before your food arrives.
The coffee was excellent, and skillfully prepared. We were given a rude look for pointing out that the order was entered incorrectly and that the order was for an iced coffee, not a regular one.
There is an option to upgrade your order to steak on the avocado toast. When we attempted to do this we were told that was not an option, then we pointed out the option and were told it could be done and finally, we were given chicken instead of steak regardless of the back and forth.
Finally, the rice bowl was 17.50, and was not a large serving and had little to substantiate.
I witnessed some other patrons who ordered the waffles, which looked amazing. I would order in that direction if you choose to dine here.
Overall, likely an off day for service. I do regret tipping so generously as we were unimpressed by the food, and had to buss our own table. Twenty percent on the front end left me feeling a small pitty party for my wallet.

La Luna Cafe food is soooo good! Do yourself a favor and order the Nutella waffle. It's the best waffle I've ever had! Covered in Warm Nutella, fresh stawberries, whipped cream and powdered sugar. It's divine! Not feeling a sweet breakfast? East one of their burrito bowls. They are absolutely scrumptious and very filling! Ive never had a bad item here. Coffee drinks are delicious and beautiful, as well. We love it here!

Been here a few times. My most recent experience wasn’t the best. Took 35 minutes to get two lattes. The food is really good however, the service can be hit or miss depending on staffing. If you’re looking for a quick (and reasonably priced) coffee go somewhere else. If you’re looking to hang out for a bit it’s not a bad choice.

Me and my buddies were looking for a place to eat before we head out of Sioux Falls. We stumbled upon this restaurant, expecting it to be just like any other breakfast place. We were wrong. We are thoroughly impressed by the food served in this place and everything tastes homemade and fresh. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is vibrant, especially overlooking a beautiful part of the city, close to the Falls.

The entire experience was amazing from beginning to start. The second we walked in we were met with an amazing atmosphere and were instantly very excited by the enticing menu items. The food itself was absolutely delicious and left us at a loss for words. I had the Nutella waffle and Oreo moon shake and I’ve never had a breakfast nearly as good as what we received. Highly recommend for anyone in the nearby area.

Came here during a road trip vacation and our stop at the falls. Wanted to try a local cafe for breakfast and happened upon this one. This is easily the best breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant. They roast their own beans and the coffee is the freshest coffee I have ever had. I got a black cold brew and it was delicious. I ordered the nutella waffle and the scrambled eggs. The portion sizes were great for the price and everything tasted fresh. If you are in Sioux Falls, this is the place for breakfast. Absolutely outstanding.
