It's the first time I try Ethiopian food and I got surprised! Each part of the combination had very rich flavors. The service was friendly and the environment was comforting. I think I'll go there again.

SO delicious! I love that if you can't decide on one, you can affordably try a sampling of several dishes (for both vegan and omnivore diets). The collard greens with injera was my favorite!

Try the buffet on Saturday or Sunday! If you're new to Ethiopian cuisine, Lalibela is the way to do it. The buffet will give you the injira (flat bread) plus all sorts of stews to go with it like tibs, shiro, and gomen. Try them all - or go for a more American option. If you're there during the week, try the sambusas (fried veg or meat pies), as they're terrific.

THE best Ethiopian you can get in Sioux Falls. Delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. They even have a lunch buffet on the weekends.

Just make sure you head right home afterwards so you don't fall asleep!

Lalibela has the best Ethiopian cuisine my husband and I have ever had! It is truly authentic from the injera, to Shiro and gormen to the fabulous honey wine. This is a MUST if you are ever in Souix Falls.

I ate here 4 years ago, they had a okra dish. It is one of the best things I've eaten in my life and the best okra I've ever had. I think about it every few days or so. Sadly I lives states away.

Cannot say enough good things about this gem of a restaurant. Makes you forget you’re in Sioux Falls, South Dakota but this place is an establishment. Our server was the owner who took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions!

Had the combination platter to try a bit of everything, highlights and dishes to order again separately: atkilt, beef alicha, and veggie sambousas.
