My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there! The food and service were excellent. The chocolate cake we shared was awesome!

Servers are nice and attentive. My triple smash burger I'd give a 4/10, really wasn't good. Fries were maybe a 5, just average. Not worth the price at all. Wife liked the fillet mignon, 8.5/10. However the pasta balognese she gave a 0.5/10, it really wasn't good. I'd give it a 3, was like sloppy joe on fat noodles. Will not be going back.

Came in for Burger Battle and unfortunately the lamb burger just wasn’t it for us. The flavor was not great, and although it was supposed to be cooked medium, it came out extremely rare with a very red, almost raw center. That alone made it hard to enjoy.
On the bright side, the giant mozzarella stick that came with it was fantastic, and the spinach artichoke dip was absolutely phenomenal. Our waitress was excellent, service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere at Minerva’s was wonderful as always.
We love Minerva’s in general, but the Burger Battle burgers themselves were a miss for our table.

Haven’t written a restaurant review in more than a year. My god, this place delivers. Drinks and food are top notch. Came in January. Very slow. Took advantage. Desert is awesome. Tomato soup is too. I’ll come back to try their steaks.

This is a lovely upscale dining experience in downtown Sioux Falls. We went for the burger during “Burger Battle 2026” and shared it—the portion was big enough to do that—and then split a piece of the decadent chocolate cake. The list of bourbons, ryes, and whiskeys is extensive and impressive, and there are several beer, wine, and cocktail options that are also above-average. The service was good (thanks, Emma!) and the ambience would have been great for a date, special occasion, or business dinner. We were dressed relatively casually, but saw diners wearing everything from special occasion dresses to hoodies (I’d recommend dressing up a bit more than that, though). I plan to return and try the charcuterie/soup/salad bar.

Steaks were ordered medium rare. Of the three steaks, two were over cooked, almost to well done and mine was too rare not to mention TOUGH. We said nothing because we were hungry and had to leave to go to an event in SF. Nice atmosphere and waitress but very inconsistent food and small portions for the large prices. A disappointment.

My husband and I had Christmas brunch. Most the dishes were pretty good. The egg benedict was amazing. The roasted brocollini was dry and hard. The staffs were very professionals. Thank you.
It was a very good experience. Enjoyed it . The staff was very cordial and attentive. The food was very good, but a little over price.
Great service

Nice place to eat downtown Sioux Falls. They have a huge soup and salad bar that you can order by itself or add for an uncharted to any meal. Food was good, service was great. Saw someone order dessert, the cheesecake was a huge portion!

Our server T was amazing. Quick and had great advice. The salad bar was top notch. We had a steak and the honey pepper salmon. The steak melted in your mouth and the salmon was perfect. Definitely recommend the spinach artichoke dip.

Do yourself a favor and just go to JL beers down the road. These people can't cook a steak right or make pasta sauce that isn't watery. Also doesn't help to speak to a manager and there is not one on site at prime time on Saturday. Pretentious and pathetic place.

This restaurant is so cozy, welcoming, and just classic. First time I came here was in the 70's when I was little, and had their amazing crepes. Their salad bar has been a mainstay for the community this whole time. The very best staff. And for special family times, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff has always been incredibly caring and attentive, it feels like you are being treated with utmost respect all the time and it is amazing. Love this restaurant, it is truly one of a kind. A true gem of downtown Sioux Falls and honestly the whole state of South Dakota.

First the bad news. I ordered the prime rib and it wasn't that flavorful. My baked potato was so so.
Now the good news. My wife ordered the New York strip then it was one of the better steaks she's had. She ordered the wild mushroom toppings and she was very appreciative that it was on its own plate and the serving size was exceptionally large.
We arrived a little before our reservation time so we did have to wait just a little bit. But I believe we were actually seated before our reservation time. The waitress, unfortunately we cannot remember her name, was excellent!.
Minwrvas is truly an eclectic restaurant. The patrons are dressed in everything from suits to casual business attire, to t-shirt and jeans.
