Beer and cider were delicious. I recommend Blake’s cider, definitely on the sweet side thought. Food was great, we enjoyed the spinach & artichoke dip and the Althea pizza. Very cool and chill place. Major points for being dog friendly, both inside and on the patio! Cash approved 🐾

Had the "Boomers" pizza (Italian sausage, basil, onion, feta...) and it was amazing. House wine was good, service was great. Well definitely be back soon - it'd been a long time since I had been there, and I will not wait that long again. :

15 years ago, I frequented this establishment while finishing my degree in Vermillion. All I have to say today is wow... Beer selection is still on point, service is next to none, and the food... Woo! I'm so proud of what monks has grown into. Simply amazing.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, wasn't too busy. As always great beer / cider / sour selections including many local beers. I do enjoy SF breweries, but Monks allows for more variety. We also got a half order of nachos, the queso was tasty and very good IMO.
This is a great place. It's been around forever. It's the bar that helped inspire me to start my own Brewery. This place still has the best selection of commercial beer in town.
Probably the best burger I’ve had in Sioux falls! Even better, they’re dog friendly!
