First time gong to Morries Steakhouse last night. It was my son's 17th birthday and he wanted a “good steak” for his birthday supper. I was blown away! If was the best steak I have EVER had! I had a filet minion, my son had a sirloin, and my daughter had the steak off the kid menu, along with their bread and asparagus spears. Melted in your mouth. All of it! Such great seasoning (and the correct amount) on everything! My son was given a free dessert for his birthday. He chose the strawberry cheesecake. We brought it home and had it for breakfast the next morning and it was Theee Best Cheesecake we have ever had!!! Awww. Worth every penny! Great waitress!

I ordered a rib eye medium rare and it was done perfectly. It was a bit tough, however and I was regretting not ordering my usual filet. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were comped a dessert which was nice. We ordered the carrot cake and the server told us it was more like a spice cake. She was right! It should be re-named as it really didn't taste like a carrot cake at all.

Ordered a steak medium rare and part was well done and the other part was rare. Flavor was ok, kind of bummed because of the value to the way it was cooked.

Had a drink at the bar before dinner and bartenders are always quick to take our order and make a great cocktail! Then a wonderful meal with great service!

Had to wait over 25 minutes after our initial reservation time. The reservations need to be managed better. Overall decent place to dine out but the dress code is also pretty lax not really a very upscale restaurant.

This is a high-end dining experience in a non-pretentious atmosphere. The Morries Staff ensures that your glass is never empty, that your meal is exactly what you've requested, and they don't pester you or your party while you dine. The Morries Staff isn't the most important facet of your dining experience; You are. When "the experience" matters, choose Morries. And if she is available, choose Stephanie.

Food was very good, maybe somewhat overpriced but we expected that. Our server did her job but was not personable at all...she had a very flat affect. Overall, it was good for a night but we chose to go elsewhere for the other nights we stayed in Sioux Falls.

Vegetable sides that were ordered we not good. Sweet potato was not warm, butter did not even melt. Mixed vegetable was not good. Salmon was excellent as was filet. Rib eye was over half fat.

My wife's salmon was very good, ordered my NY strip medium rare and came medium well. Sent it back and next one was good. Got the bill and was charged for 2 NY strips. Waitress was good and fixed right away
