Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

A shot out to Kelsey M at this location. We had the best service yet from this attentive, kind and very professional staff member. We had a rough day when we came in on Thursday night. She just made our night better. We really appreciated her attention and professionalism. If she isn't a trainer for new hires, she should be. She is exactly what the face of Olive Garden should be. Thank you for a job well done. We understand that Trevor is the GM, expect a call from me in the very near future for a call of accommodation for this fine employee. Kelsey, keep up the good work and thank you for putting a smile on my family's face after a very rough day.

The waitress handed me a scalding hot plate then she told me it was hot- after the fact! The scalding plate was also the kids meal! There were giant forks for the kids menu, obnoxiously large. The waitress kept coming back and forth like every three minutes offering us takeout plates and we had just taken our first bites! Also, it was well before ten p.m. and I was under the impression that the restaurant closed at eleven. They gave us the food and rushed us out the door. Wow!
The food was okay basically noodles and some kind of red sauce. We still tipped the waitress, well and the waitress was kind but it was a really over the top experience.
So- if you like spending a fortune, getting your hand scorched with a blow torch with zero warning, having giant pitch forks for children and being rushed out the door for some soggy noodles?! All the while being seated next to mildly sober individuals who were also feeding at the hot iron inn. If this is your idea of a good nights meal!
Then go man go! Oh and get a giant mound of cheese added to your soup, salad, pasta, and everything else, otherwise you’re, let’s just say, not normal.

our waitress was Mickel and she was an absolute joy. she’s friendly, attentive, and has a great personality for serving. we never had to ask for refills! very prompt and on the ball even with it being her first week without a trainer. the food was delicious, came out very quickly and hot!

We ordered spageeti meat ball.. didnt care for the meat ball, nor the over cooked spagetti… salad ok. Bread is excellent.

We had the best experience we’ve ever had! Huge shout out to the manager Alex at the 41st store in Sioux Falls! I had just been released from the Heart Hospital with a low sodium diet. He came over and made the whole experience very personable and easy! He is an amazing manager and you guys are extremely lucky to have him on your team.

Katie telling her tables that she’s a pro(not sure what it is, but might be a position that’s held to high standards?) her service says otherwise. Took 5 minutes to get to our table, drinks weren’t kept full and didn’t check on us if everything was alright. Service wasn’t the best, but food was good as always.
