I went to pancheros because I was tired of getting small burritos from qdoba and chipotle so I figured I’d try this place out. Everything about this place is better, the food, portion size, and price. I got a steak burrito and it’s the best I’ve had in years. The only reason I rated the food 4 out of 5 is because some of the steak was fatty but that was only like two pieces

After months and months and months of driving past Pancheros and dreaming of the delicious burritos they brag about, I was very let down. The tortilla was the best part but everything else was a let down. The rice was undercooked and a bit “hard” (?), the “steak” was grissly pieces of cartilage, and the burrito was assembled in such a way that by the time I was a few bites in, I had already eaten all the good stuff and I was left with the aforementioned sad rice.Of course, I don’t expect fine cuisine from fast casual but I do expect a solid burrito that would make the chain across the street (hint, it rhymes with “UDoba”) nervous.All in all, I am disappointed. But maybe I caught them on a bad day or was there at a bad time. In the end, though, thankfully, there’s more to life than burritos!

The tortilla dough being pressed and grilled right in front of you is great and definitely better than the other places that just steam premade tortillas.
