Buttermilk is heavy but the pancakes were so good! The apple wood bacon was scrumptious. Unfortunately there was nothing to eat for my Asperger's daughter so I had to eat it in the car :/

Portions were small and the food was not good. I had a gut ache afterwards. They put us right next to the bathrooms even though the restaurant was mostly empty not a good smell.

Was craving some mozzarella sticks and a cheeseburger 🍔 😋 👍

Amber was very busy but did not neglect any customers. She was always upbeat and happy

In my opinion, this location used to be the best home cooking restaurant in Sioux Falls.
The former owner sold his remaing stores to a huge company owning dozens.
Their hallmark of excellent service and the most wonderfully consistent food in Sioux Falls.

Their breakfast foods dropped from a 9 out of 10 to perhaps a 5 or 6 out of 10.
Their hosts never acknowledge you on arrival until they finish with everyone ahead of you without so much as a "We'll be right with you."

The dinner foods I've tried are still quite good. The ribs are fantastic.

Most of the old staff is gone, the few that remain are true Service Stars. The others seem to be more concerned with the "not my job" mentality. To be fair, no one has ever said this, but be studiously ignored on entry or waiting to pay, and you'll understand.

You might wonder why I still rate it with 2 stars with what is admittedly a pretty harsh review.

They still have the necessary ingredients to reach excellence again. Time will tell, I hope.

Ordered food to go today & was assisted by Laura. Clearly they were busy, you could hear it in the background but Lord she had such a rough tone. I pick up the food & yea, they were slammed. Get home with my 5 meals & I am missing some breakfast meat, 3 orders of pancakes & my eggs are seriously that cold. Called them & Laura answered, said I was missing the pancakes & she said I got toast. Yes, but it comes with pancakes. She says "I asked what you wanted for bread" "yea, I said white" & she said my choosing a bread type was me saying I wanted toast & not pancakes. Bread & pancakes are not 1 in the same & she was not sorry at all. I waited forever in the lobby to get my food & then lucky for me I get missing food, cold food & really poor reasons for no pancakes. $90 food order but no apologies for 3 things of missing meat + pancakes. Didn't even tell her about the meat by the time she copped attitude over pancakes. Thanks Laura!
