Phnom Penh Restaurant, located in Sioux Falls, offers a unique Cambodian and Chinese dining experience. The restaurant is known for its authenticity, with a variety of dishes made from fresh ingredients. Customers can expect a nice and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal. The service is generally good.
The menu features a range of dishes, from spicy papaya salad to Thai drunken noodles. The papaya salad has a spicy and acidic flavor, while the noodles are flavorful and satisfying. The kung pao chicken is sweet and saucy. The shrimp spring roll is a customer favorite, with fresh and flexible rice paper and a delicious dipping sauce. The pork BBQ fried rice is also highly recommended, with tender pork and moist rice. The pho tai broth could be improved with more depth and seasoning. The General House dish with beef, shrimp, and chicken has a tasty sauce.
The Rangoons were some of the best. The Spicy Drunken Noodles were delicious and filling. The egg rolls were phenomenal, light and crispy. The restaurant was spotless and very clean. Customers praise the good flavor balance, especially in dishes like pad Thai and drunken noodles, which are often ordered for take-out with quick service. Shrimp spring rolls and peanut butter chicken are also highly recommended, along with sesame chicken. The service was described as super helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere includes fun TV shows for entertainment. Overall, Phnom Penh Restaurant remains a favorite for authentic and flavorful Cambodian and Chinese cuisine.
